In Isfahan you can also visit the Armenian quarters that has a beautiful church (built 1606AD) with a nice museum that has the smallest bibles (probably in the world). If you visit the Menar Jonban (shaky minarets) you can have some fun! I believe those were made for entertainment in 1600s. BTW, the Naqsh-i-Jahan square that you visited, I believe it is still the largest square (Meydaan) in the world and it was originally designed as a Polo game square,so the Safavid dynasty kings (in 1600s) they could watch the Polo games from King's quarters in the Ali-Qappo building, and in the same building you can visit the music room were the musicians would play their instruments and to ensure Royal family's privacy the music could be heard in their rooms (since the aquatics of the room would carry the sounds) without musicians being in the same room as the royals.

We're vegan, so options are very limited in meat loving countries... We always try to look for vegan restaurants who offer veganised versions of local food, unfortunately in Isfahan these vegan restaurants offered only fast food... Thanks for watching!
@@AFlaneursQuest You do not necessarily need to go to a vegetarian restaurant in order to get vegetarian food. Iranian cuisine has some great vegetarian dishes. Each town or region has its own dishes but, some universally well-known dishes are: - Mirza Ghasemi - Kashk-e-Bademjun - Borani - Dolmeh barg (the meatless version) - Aash (many varieties available, most are without meat) - Kuku sabzi - Kuku bademjan - Kaleh joosh - Kuku sib-zamini Those a few of the better known ones. I hope you can find them in the restaurants and enjoy them. There maybe many other vegetarian dishes that are particular to a certain region, and I am not aware of. So ask around, and I am sure you will find vegetarian dishes in regular restaurants too. As someone else mentioned, Falafel is not even an Iranian dish by origin.
I'm glad you enjoyed your trip to Iran. Just a heads up: 1- the price of essential commodities and energy carriers including gasoline and diesel fuel are heavily subsidized in Iran for Iranian citizens; therefore, prices are artificially kept low I general. 2- The value of Iran's currency has been decimated due to trade and banking sector sanctions and oil embargo imposed by European countries and USA. 3- people's livelihood has been destroyed due to sanctions and economical hardship. Be aware that each time you flaunt your Euro wealth and humiliate low value currency, you are adding insult to injury to the people whom are warm and welcoming. On the other hand when we visit Europe we face discrimination and disrespectful behavior. Enjoy your voyage of third world countries!
We are certainly aware that many day-to-day things are subsidised by the government to make life a little more comfortable. But to now say that we would offend people by saying that some things are cheap in our western eyes, this still seems a strange reasoning.... Thanks for watching!
