We Crashed An Open House At SG's Oldest Arts School! Ft. Cayydences, Jiaxuan | SlayIt 2 最强玩家2 EP2

In this episode, HeyKaki hosts (Jie Ci and Xi Ying) and our guests, Cayydences and Jia Xuan, head down to Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA) to learn about its rich heritage and school curriculum! They will first uncover their musical talent in one of the unique courses offered by the school, where they learn how to play two Javanese Gamelan (Saron Demung & Bonang Barung) under the tutelage of our experienced NAFA teacher!
Next, they learn some fun facts about the school through a mini game of amazing race, as they answer trivia questions and experience different fun art activities (silkscreen printing & woodblock printing) at NAFA Open House! [1:19] As of 2024, NAFA has seen more than 16,000 students graduate from the academy!
[8:37] Han Sai Por is an alumna from NAFA. She has works permanently displayed in Singapore's MRT stations.
[8:59] The "printer room" Jiaxuan and Jieci mentioned is actually an artistic form called "Printmaking", not to be confused with Screen making.
