Weird they’d be rusted out but that’s a long time for a regular string. These should have lasted longer though. I’ve had mine on since I recorded this video and no rust yet…
Dude, 0 comparison...This doesn't help me whatsoever understand why I'm paying a billion dollars for strings. You gave it 10 days without any comparison to other strings, no tone comparisons, nothing...I can't help but feel that this is just a hey guys I like these strings video...which is fine, but it didn't really help in knowing why these strings are worthwhile.
First of all, note taken, thanks for the feedback. Here’s my reasoning: there’s tones of those videos out there, so I figured I’d bring something different to the table and talk about the more technical aspects of these strings when compared to other Daddario strings for that matter. I talked to the daddario guys about doing a string shootout video across their complete line on the one guitar / amp combination and they said they’ll look into it. Maybe it’ll happen and they’ll send me the strings to make that video. As it stands I can’t really afford to purchase strings just to scrape them right after shooting a short video, let alone multiple sets. I could have compared them to old NYXL strings (what the guitar had on before) but that wouldn’t have been a fair comparison either. This way at least is honest and objective.
No question that D’Addario are the best strings out there. This further proves it. Keep up the great work, Pat!

Oh gotcha! Yeah cases will do that but it’s weird that the string that’s poking out is rusty too. Shouldn’t really be. Just out of curiosity, How long was the guitar in the case?
@@PatPosse the strings have been on for about 3 months
