Tridge chemistry was amazing and they should have had a longer run then they did miss having hunter on the show she deserved a better run towards the end just irks me how much her character was put through on the show
This is what I wrote many episodes before: Taylor fits with warmth of Spectra family, 'cause she is so likeable just like Macy and I wouldn't be mad if they were friends at one point and created united front.
Taylor is probably meant to be a warm person, but I don't think HT the actress could project the kind of warmth, humor and camaraderie that Sally/Darlene and her gang had. Hunter worked the best when she was in "therapist mode", being cooI, composed and objective - the opposite of the comedic Spectra vibe. I can't imagine Taylor looking comfortable wearing a siIIy party hat (and she shouldn't be because she's a different character type). I don't see her and Macy being friends because that wouldn't be a very dynamic friendship - and also, like Brooke, Taylor doesn't have actual friends.
I disagree with that user who’s never liked Taylor and always has been picking on her! Claiming she’d know Hunter on a personal level! My opinion and from what I’ve observed, is that Taylor is a warm character and would have been a good friend to Macy. Stephanie was her best friend. I also don’t think that Hunter was a monster either!🤦♀️🩷👍🏻
@@kg4025 @scor66 I was not referring to HT as a person but to her acting style. I think both HT and KKL come across as less warm in their acting, compared to Darlene and those surrounding her. And to me, Taylor and Stephanie have a mother/daughter type relationship rather than a "girl friendship" (the only time the show tried giving Taylor a "girl friend" was with Morgan and that was very unconvincing). I don't really see how Taylor and Macy would make an interesting friendship. They are both "Good Girls" who fill similar plot functions, and so they would canceI each other out.
@@annieo6527I can picture Macy and Taylor as friends. You're right that Taylor is not a Spectra type, but neither Macy. The young ladies are both sophisticated and polite. The truth is, that apart from the mother/ daughter relationship Sally / Macy and the first Stephanie/ Taylor, as you said, there are no friendships at all between all the characters, male or female. Darla and Macy were the only friends and Brad is going to ruin their friendship.
@@babs4848 I think for me it's exactly the sophistication and politeness that is the problem - if I imagine them as friends, I just picture them having a nice cup of tea while talking pleasantly and sensibly about how to bring the family together, while agreeing on everything. 😂 That is why I think Darla works better as a friend to Macy (and I agree they are the most well-developed friendship on the show - although I would also count Sheila and Mike as a friendship, and Sally/Stephanie in their own ambivaIent way). Darla is happy and carefree while Macy is often a tragic character, Darla is siIIy while Macy is serious. So Darla brings out a lighter side of Macy and makes her laugh. Taylor and Macy are too similar in terms of archetypes, and I don't see them adding depth to each other's characters. If Taylor had a friend, I could see her friends with someone like James where they could analyze everything together (and specifically where Taylor could be the one getting advice instead of always giving it). To me, the main point of a friendship is to give the viewer a "window into a character's soul" by having someone who can listen to their deepest thoughts. And that usually works the best if one of them is a "Iead" character and the other one is a supporting character - a sounding board - and if they exist in the same story space. Taylor and Macy are both "romantic Iead" characters in completely separate storylines, so how would they relate to each other? All they really have in common is their Good Girl nature and a mutual dislike for Brooke. I would say that even though neither Taylor nor Macy is a "Spectra type", Macy responds and reacts to the Spectra humor in a way that Taylor doesn't. That is, Macy being the serious one in the Spectra gang, and reacting to the absurdity, or being kept in the dark about it, is often _part_ of the comedy.

Eric and Kristen have not liked these new principles (influenced by Massimo), that cut off all retail spaces of their rival to succeed.
