This is very true, you also have to make sure that the product is worth the price!! It doesn’t matter if you spent x amount of time, money, and effort if it doesn’t look good. You also have to go by what other people are selling their items for, not what shien or temu is selling at.
The thing is that most people doesn't have the luxury to care. Handmade costs more and majority of people aren't making much to waste on something just for the sake of the product being handmade.
I have the impression that the only way to live off handmade things is being the best you can at it and selling it at a high price to very wealthy people that values that type of work

Most cant afford to buy quality products and are ok with the short longevity\poor quality of the product in trade of the price.
