Multiple things. 1. I really like changes to Mortimer, they really go along well with the fight as a whole. 2. I don’t really like increasing the HP, mainly because it kills off any cool music syncs from the vanilla fight, but I like that he made an attempt to make syncs, even with the health buff. 3. This man has really unlocked the whetstone’s true potential, hasn’t he?
So Mortimer phase 1 is fairly normal except he sends noticeably more cards. Phase 2 Snow Golem has no chill and his bounce roll is veery close to ground and travels at sonic speed. His Fridge/Ivě Cube attack is kind of broken. Oh ye dont forget the spike shockwave is harder to avoid given theres almost no safe ground if you dont dash Phase 3 Mortimers bucket attack definitely received lot of upgrades not only Mortimer now goes back to his starting position after reaching the end but also theres lot more crecent moons, did I forgot to mention theres 4 spinning platforms? The laser eyeball zaps 8 times instead of 5 times and they said Mortimer was OP on Expert The Ice Cream attack now is actual threat, usually its more or less joke attack.
I actually love these changes! Compared to the DLC this could be seen as a MasterQuest difficulty, but in my opinion they should’ve buffed the first phase like you did. The other buffs could fit into the expert mode although they’d probably have to raise the difficulty on every other boss. Love this idea though! Mortimer’s my favorite DLC boss. 😄
Okay this is probably the most evil thing I've ever thought of but even though the eyeball zaps 8 times, you can kind of cheese it like you do in the video. Would there be a way to make it also shoot sideways?

The sync from phase 2 to 3 was really good, in my opinion. Also whetstone is really good for Mortimer Freeze.
