What are the draw backs of connecting these tops to mixer output directly left and right and running sub off of monitor input.? I have same system but a different sub which also has crossover. I understand the crossover had a high pass filter, how important is this if the operas have built in dsp and fir filters etc? Would it be louder and clearer if run like this ? Would it be more tonal and get more frequencies if i run them full range? Please respond anyone with sure data and exp on this..
I have always done all my connections first before switching on active speakers or amplifiers to passive systems. Then turn on the mixer first then the amp or active speakers with all volumes set to zero. Turn up slowly to make sure all works properly.

Is a pair of these speakers good and loud for parties with around 150 to 250 people?
With a good subwoofer yes, otherwise they are fine for 80 people/300 square meters.

Lights funny, but where is the sound from this speakers? 😞
