The cry baby barely got his over and it came down faster to just beat Shaw. Flawed event. Is Thor saying he was cheated out of the truck pull event? Wait he will.

Thor did start moving at “ready” on the keg toss not on the whistle. And Brian had a slight double-check on that fourth stone that cost him a second. That was the difference.
Something went wrong with the sound in this video. I made a comparison video with Shaw and Thor next to eachother, starting at the same time and Thor was faster. Also Thor was around 3 seconds faster on the stones than Brian, he was always going to be faster. Although if Brian had done the stones a little faster Thor would have been the champion because that would put Z at 3rd place in the stones.
Brian Shaw didn't show professional attitude in qualifying round and his vanity led to underestimating other strongmen. Eddie Hall claims to be 6'3", but standing next to 6'2" Shahlei, he obviosly looks shorter. I think that he is actually around 6'1". I really like Eddie as a strongman and he seems to be a great guy, but no way is he 6'3" tall.
They should really be able to get Big Z's name right as many times as he's won! It's Savi-CK-as not Sav-IS-ckas! I know it's not a big deal, but he deserves it. The man has definitely earned that.
If you watch Mike Burke & Brian Shaw do the stones, when Burke slams his first stone into the podium and loses it, Shaw is distracted from the second stone just long enough to bump him down into 3rd ,, that is why you could see in his face at the end he was unhappy with his result & looks like he knows he could have gone faster,, just saying.
I agree, but handling distractions is part of the game. There are a ton of emotions for everyone involved. As professionals, they have to get used to cameras, crowds, judges, weather, etc. All of those are the variables that will greatly influence the outcome. But everyone has to get in "the zone", and just get to work.
Wodinn If you watch the video starting at 38:20 you can see that Brian Shaw hesitates and turns his head away from what he is doing, I believe he does this because he is concerned for his safety as the ball that Burke has dropped is rolling around. This also throws off the fluidity for the rest of his run.

A lesson for all of us.
Savickas was humble...glad he won
Back then Thor was still making nervous these legends who won now 4X Title
Wow Thor is really Unbelievable as Big Z said
Hard to believe thor was only 25 then and only 29 now
all of them look at least 10 years older....
Look at Pudzianowski in the 02, he was apparently 24 years old lol
Amazing!!!!!!!!!!!
funny as fuck, when there's a close up of Bjornson smashing down a tyre, some guy in the crowd shouts, OW!!!
Brian shaw was cocky here and paid for it.... big z humbled him!
will you upload wsm 2015 finals sooner this time? ;)
Seeing Brian Shaw lose by half a second and seeing his reaction is honestly heartbreaking.
It's actually satisfying to see arrogance being silenced haha
@@muhammadnasif1496 I am a Big Z fan but Shaw isn't arrogant. He is humble.
@@kooroshrostami27 lol he said no one could beat his time and then thor immediately beats him. the arrogant idiot set himself up for that.
@@royalzak2670 everybody has his cocky moments. Doesn't make him an arrogant person when he is humble in pretty much every other instance.
@@kooroshrostami27 true, brian was younger and more naive here i'm sure he matured as a person but we're talking about brian in the context of this video
18:13 never celebrate to early.....lol
2014 was hafthors best year yet.
I guess 2018 means nothing
@@NSD-fp9qj it was a while ago I made this comment, but what I think I meant is that this year was the first year he was a real contender for the title
can we quickly appreciate that Thor won 3 events outright (including what I *think* were two world records at the time - keg toss and atlas stones...?), came 2nd in 2 events outright, and STILL didn't win the entire final... - all he needed to do was ONE more rep in the squat
i got tired by only watching this lmao
Best WSM of all time?
Keg Toss:
Brian: I´mma lose my cool and humblness once! i worked hard for this, what´s the worst can happen?
Thor:
12:47 they got the years wrong!
That stone rolling around in the background! Haha!
Z has the best form. Hall is just reckless. More power than brains.
27.48 'Ladies and gentlemen, please welcrum...'
hapthor should have won
+chubeviewer If he done more in the Squat Lift he could've won
He deserves on of the trophies. Maybe this year
chubeviewer yea
nope. If you can't squat you not the WSM sry.
Thor with the false start in the keg toss. Brian should have won that but Thor still had an amazing performance
James Richardson's about the last guy I expected to be commentating this. Nice surprise lol
It had to be another 3 years for Hafthor.
Eddie Hall claims to be 6'3", but standing next to 6'2" Shahlei, he obviosly looks shorter. I think that he is actually around 6'1". I really like Eddie as a strongman and he seems to be a great guy, but no way is he 6'3" tall.
great guy xd nice joke
They should really be able to get Big Z's name right as many times as he's won! It's Savi-CK-as not Sav-IS-ckas! I know it's not a big deal, but he deserves it. The man has definitely earned that.
i've watched the past 3 years and they screwed it up every time. wondering if anybody caught that?
No it’s correct big z said it himself
LONG LIVE THE KING
ZYDRUNAS SAVICKAS AKA STRONGEST MAN WHO EVER LIVED
I don't see it
Wodinn
If you watch the video starting at 38:20 you can see that Brian Shaw hesitates and turns his head away from what he is doing, I believe he does this because he is concerned for his safety as the ball that Burke has dropped is rolling around. This also throws off the fluidity for the rest of his run.
Nope. What really cost him was the 4th stone that rolled on the pillar.
In a way it's unfair but that's part of the game. Contenders have been distracted before and will be in the future.
Big Z face remind me of Hulk.
Zydrunas is the freakiest since Pudzianowski.
Hafthorrrrr!!!!! Ahhhhh that keg toss
I wonder how much it affected the points if Thor did wear that suit they were talking about in the squats.
good job z
Godbless broeddie
the keg toss discipline shows the extreme strength they have...they lift those kegs like nothing...
They lift 500000000000000000 kg
Brian's never been great at loading events, has he?
2017 eddie
I would like to see these guys try to lift thor's hammer.
Only the Brits should do commentating for WSM.
