Well you’ve got good taste. The Pierro VR Chardonnays are some of the greatest, most powerful Chardonnays in Margaret River. Re the Woodlands, you are best to taste them right now while the wines are still available to restock should you decide they’re better cellared. I personally like Chardonnay 3-5 years from release for everyday drinking, putting those wine’s drinking windows circa 2024-2027. But up to you!
Thanks Nick! In general the 2019 was cool, and the wines are lighter and finer than wines from the vintages either side. They drink better as younger wines, have lovely perfume, and as always, the fine, supple style of Devils Lair shines through the vintage.

To me the Leeuwin is still the best.
