But you can't be neutral because you aren't defending me but I don't want you to defend me.
Yepp it was legit the most ironic display of ignorance and gaslighting I’ve seen in an argument in a very long time.. sad shit Jason can’t see how much of an L friend he is actually being and just L person overall.
I think everyone is entitled to play with whoever they wish to play with. It's just that Jason showed double standards by repeatedly changing his stance and reasoning, and blaming Tarik for something that wasn't even his fault. He could have been respectful and settled this down.
this concept of a "character witness" doesn't actually matter. the argument of whether or not jason is a sexist person to the core of his character doesn't matter. what matters is he engaged in sexist actions. intentions or reasoning aside, the actions were demonstrably sexist, and that is not a debatable point. that is a fact. and if someone (e.g. tarik) doesn't want to support the person behind the actions, that's a completely reasonable position to take.
Nah mate intentions and/or reasoning is the key here let me show you this:"characterized by or showing prejudice, stereotyping, or discrimination, typically against women, on the basis of sex." Thats the definition of a sexist, IF and just IF JasonR's statements are true that he hung out and befriended woman when he was out with Tarik, aswell as having a healthy and happy realtionship/marriage with a woman and just dodging woman for as he claims:" his relationship and jealousy of his wife" then he is not acting sexist, since he doesnt sterotype woman he doesnt think its the weaker gender etc. He is simply avoiding random girls to ensure a happy relationshipt with HIS girl. So no your statement was not accurate. I think it all comes down to the reasoning of why he does it to say wether it truly is sexist or not. But tbf it really doesnt matter cuz he can do what ever he wants to its his right to choose who he interacts with , and no one can force him to have any sorts of interaction with anyone he doesnt want to. And us (community) making a fus of the situation and trying to force opinions or lifestyles onto him is extremly toxic/controlling and shouldnt be done at all.
Tbf tho i do agree with the later part, Tarik does not have to stand up for JasonRs problems/mistakes just because they are friends if he personally disagrees with certain behaviour or whatsoever since then again its going back to my main point, no one should be allowed to force something onto one other and for jason to force a certain stance or view onto tarik is also toxic behaviour.
@@DrawingwithMangaSoul But he’s still discriminating women? So your point is completely irrelevant. “Oh I’m not racist but if I have a black guy on my team I’m dodging!” like bro cmon are you hearing yourself here? “making a fuss out of him dodging females is controlling and toxic” maybe you should have a word with his wife/girl and say that she is controlling and toxic, imagine not being allowed to play 1 ranked game with a random ass girl on your team like relax it’s a random queue. You’re saying that we can discriminate anyone for any reason that we find fit be it gender/race/sexuality/etc that in itself is a problematic mindset.

Jason did not receive any "death threats". That shit is made up. Any time someone brings up "death threats were made!!!", if you go and look you'll usually find ONE person saying something along the line of a death threat but it has no attention to it.
TL:DR jasonR doesn't realize his behavior is clearly sexist behavior and wants tarik to say he is not those thign because he don't act sexist when he hangs out with tarik and his girl, and tarik doesn't seem to have the hearth to just straight up tell him that he in fact is sexist, because that behavior is sexist, you can't be sexist with some girls and not sexist with others.

Jason thinks friendship is when your friend agrees with you blindly. This is not a gang where you have to defend people regardless. Character witness or not, JasonR has proven again that he has sexist tendencies. His chat is also incredibly toxic with actual cancerous mods. If people don’t like you, they don’t support you.
I don’t think Jason ever asked for Tarik to agree. He just asked to attest to his character. But its not Tarik’s job to speak and defend him when he should do that himself. It didn’t seem to get anywhere from either end anyway
Sure, but I think it was important for Tarik to shut him down live and let his audience know that Jason's behaviour shouldn't and wasn't going to be tolerated no matter what kind of person he actually is. This is bigger than just a private squabble between two friends over a trivial ordeal, this sexist behavior affects the whole community and has no place in what should be an inclusive game that all people should be allowed to enjoy and not be discriminated against in.
Jason is such a walking L, the fact that he wants to influence so much in his "friends" opinion says it all, Imagine being an L friend because you are not okay with his actions lmfao but boi oh boi if you have a different opinion on his chat, he will instantly ban u unless you gift him 10 subs
Lets pretend Tarik wasnt at the viewership he has now... Would Jason be complaining about an L friend??? or is all he cares about is the "public" not knowing. Sounds like manipulation to me sorry Jason lol. He should of just waited to let this blow over but nope
The funniest thing about all of this is it’s just going to make Tarik’s view count even higher. Goddamn Qt was tweeting about this, all it did was raise the Content King’s profile on Twitch.
I think Jason wanted Tarik to say that Tarik does not think that Jason is a sexist in real-life, but he does not agree with the shit he do in game. What Jason do in game is compltetly not accpetable and he does not support it, and Jason should change it. But from what Tarik saw in real-life from hanging out with Jason, he can say that Jason is not a sexist and a women hater in real-life from his perspective.
Pretty sure most people know that he is not a sexist in rl, since he have a wife also lol. What most ppl think is that he choose to dodge the game when he know there is a girl playing is because he feel girl gamers are inferior in games. So what tarik feel is that by saying that he is not a sexist person in rl is not really related to what he was getting flamed for. Thats what i think
Props to Tarik for wrapping it up by saying that they BOTH went in circles…I know it went on for a lot longer but I would be getting a lot more riled up than him…
tbr if you go back and watch the vods of rank s and the old csgo days you can clearly see most cs pros acting this way and in other ways. many csgo pros have changed their tune since then but its kind of crazy how its just 1 dude at this point being called out.
Below is just my interpretation of the short version of this argument and some of my thoughts. tldr; JasonR explains why Tarik is an L friend, while Tarik explains he cannot condone the actions of JasonR in Valorant. Tarik is JasonR's friend, having also met JasonR and his wife in person, assumed that Tarik would defend him. JasonR calls Tarik an L friend because he didn't take his side during this whole debacle, whereas Tarik stands firm that he does not condone the actions of: muting female gamers, queue dodging females, and overall subtle misogynistic behaviours. JasonR for the most part doesn't like the fact that Tarik isn't helping him at all even though he was his friend, since he exclaims that Tarik should know that he isn't misogynistic in real life. If this is starting to get repetitive, then yes, you are correct in thinking that way, since this is the core part of the argument that JasonR repeatedly regurgitates. On Tarik's side of things, he believes that he is still a friend to JasonR, but just can't defend what has already be seen by the public. From the argument, the key points are established, and just comes down to what ideologies they have and how they conflict. JasonR has said that because he's married he can't be a misogynist, and wouldn't do anything misogynistic...(but clips and other anecdotal evidences say otherwise). This kind of seems like an "I have a black friend therefore I can't be a racist" argument, which does not really make for a strong arguement. JasonR extends this to Tarik as his pillar to support that his IRL image is not misogynistic. Tarik has seen the evidence of JasonR's behaviour against women in Valorant and "does not support those actions in any way shape or form". Seems simple, misogyny is bad. Tarik openly states that he did not slander JasonR's name or his character, but rather just the actions that were done. Tarik seems to just wants JasonR to apologize for whatever he's done and move on with a better mental (but obviously this would mean the JasonR would have to admit wrongdoing). The arguement kind of devolves into what it means to be a friend. In many cases, friendships are formed through mutual likes and are strengthened through resolving conflict between themselves, meaning friends are those who understand or try to understand each other. There can always be a difference in opinions among friends, but it becomes more challenging when the difference in opinions are on moral stances. It seems that Tarik's and JasonR's understanding of friendship differs. JasonR has said that he would back Tarik up no matter what if he was caught in the same situation, a decision motivated by feelings and emotions. Tarik on the other hand wants to defuse the tension by specifically indicating that he is not fine with misogynistic behaviour that had been displayed, a decision of moral high ground. We can see that Tarik is more logical and is trying to be understanding to JasonR, but JasonR seems to disregard this and continues to pelt Tarik on why he should have defended him as his friend. P.S: I have not watched the full version of the arguement in its entirety, and these are just my opinions. There may be some things in the full version that may not be indicated here since these are what I have seen in the short version. I hope that there will be a conclusion soon, as more exposure of JasonR continues the more people who will leave valorant because of the growing toxic environment that is not being monitored. Instead of taking concrete sides, its better for the community to collectively rule out misogynistic behaviours, though it may not always work out, I hope that the valorant community continues to grow. Me: War is bad! You hear me, Putin! (Not going to blame Russian people, but the Russian government and oligarches)

Jason really throwing so much excuses to clear his name
Do you call girl only discords sexist?
@@favournjoku7594 Bro your question doesnt even make sense
Thats what i think
not kyedae and poki messaging tarik for duoing w jason XD
Props to Tarik for wrapping it up by saying that they BOTH went in circles…I know it went on for a lot longer but I would be getting a lot more riled up than him…
the whole avengers coming up in his whispers and stream chat is amazing
Warik + JasonL
tbr if you go back and watch the vods of rank s and the old csgo days you can clearly see most cs pros acting this way and in other ways. many csgo pros have changed their tune since then but its kind of crazy how its just 1 dude at this point being called out.
jasonr just changing reasons everytime the qn is asked again. I also think tarik is pointing out what he had done rlly wrong as being a true friend.
Jason's logic is so fucked
Imagine you kill a person and then try to defend yourself saying that you've never done it before and try to make your friends support you.. insane🤣🤣
this one’s a bad example. depends on context, was it self defense/literal life or death situation? was he/she trying to stop a potentially bad situation from happening? was it an accident? was it an urge he/she had? was it intentional? etc etc
@@kevinjung6720 it's not about the concrete example but the context itself. You can't defend a friend or even a family member, if there hard solid evidence that you did it. Even for me if my parents did bad things why would I back them up personally. That's the view point rn, you can't call them bad friends or bad family members if they don't support your position. Relationships don't matter at that point, you don't own the person to force them to back you up. And again there's full evidence that it was legit.
@@vagueeee4352 that’s exactly what i said?? “depends on the context” i was referring to his example and not the current situation with jasonr. regarding the jasonr situation, what he did is 100% wrong and his wife is even weirder. she has major insecurities
The Score Esports will for sure post a video on this drama by this week for sure.
you missed the part where Jason told Tarik he was being "a girl about it"
still not sexist or misogynistic btw /s
"invite me to jumpscare jasonr" 💀
Jason comes across as extremely narcissistic and his argument is immature. Tarik was right to say something and the way Jason was so mad at him for not being a ‘witness to his character’ sets of so many red flags. I honestly think Jason doesn’t deserve a platform until he can actually come clean and take responsibility for once instead of dragging others down
jason, stawpp. this isnt like you 🥺
pokimanes comment LMAOOOOO
timestamp?
@@cabovalo 7:14
The problem is that jasonR def feels emotionally hurt cuz his friend didn’t back him up, but like once time comes he will realize that Tarik was probably the nicer people around him
Bruh everything was fine and I wasn't laughing like a madman until I saw kydae text " aww maan I wanted to duo with Jason "
Thats the height of the meme JasonR has made for himself.
Yeah that cracked me up😂
the way Zellsis entered the convo had my dying bro
7:14 lmao Pokimane asked tarik to invite her to scare jasonR
8:37 And kyedae trolling as well lmao
HAHAHAHAHH THIS NEEDS TO BE PINNED
Jason even admitted to not playing with women in ranked. He said “I’ve played with my wife, and women in unrated.” Notice how he avoided mentioning ranked
JASONR JASONR JASONR, Literally showing his true self...
Dude the dms he gets make this thing so much better LOL
Jason is behaving like how valkyrae behaved when she got called out for her scam product. She called out Jacksepticeye and some other friends for not standing with her . Bruh its your issue deal with it , stop dragging in friends if they are remaining neutral in that situation, it makes you look bad and desperate
"This doesn't concern defending me, but you should defend me" .....bruh
