Oh my goodness! Me too! I have watched everything I could find of him, including some really weird New Zealand stuff when I think he was still in his teens!
@@leesakat me too!! I went on a mad hunt! Secret Life of Us, his two seconds in Spudmonkey, 50 Ways, West, Wild Boys, etc. I went on a mad hunt for it all! I would love for more 😄
omg he sounds SO different that he does on For All Mankind! His accent on the show sounds so much like he is from Texas etc. I wondered about his accent and he is totally different here. I have no idea how people can completely change their accents! WTG Michael. Loved him on For All Mankind! He did a FANTASTIC job on that show.
I love this show. I was angry enough when I found out it was canceled that I sent a message to Paramount plus. I asked them why would they cancel a great show it's not the same old cops and robbers or hospital kind of show. It is different. They broke their necks to get Yellowstone hot and heavy. I think they canceled it because there were too many blacks and too many Native americans. And it is not an all white cast. They need to put Joe Pickett back on. Give it a chance. The powers that be are the ones that are the problem😢
I really wanted to like the series but didn’t make it through E3 before giving up on this laughable stinker. The screenplay’s so ridiculously lame and poorly written you have to wonder if maybe it was sourced from 15 year old screenwriters the producer found in San Francisco or NYC. A single word, “Stereotypes”, best describes the embarrassingly poor casting, acting, directing, and production. From the awful generic “ignorant white person” southern accents & dialects spoken by too many of the characters, to the neglectful absence of any pre-production research on any topic associated with the script ranging from firearms, law enforcement, game wardens, or actual people or culture in rural Montana/Wyoming, there’s not a shred of authenticity or attention to detail attempted. None! “Joe Pickett” is really that bad. What a waste of potential.
Joe Pickett is armed with a decades old 22 LR bolt action rifle as a duty weapon. Anyone vaguely familiar with firearms or law enforcement immediately recognizes that’s beyond ridiculous. No LEO has ever carried a favorite rimfire rifle from their childhood as a duty weapon/patrol rifle, and only a screenwriter too lazy to do ANY research or even the bare minimum attempt at common sense technical advice would write such nonsense into a screenplay.
It's a show based on a series of books of more than a dozen, somebody thinks they're good haha. I'm just following to watch Michael Dorman. I had no idea I could digest a western. It's worth giving it a try to finish. I hope you enjoy it.
@@tedunlis7432 and the 22 is only in the first couple episodes (spoilers follow ....) because it's his "childhood trauma" firearm, that's the only way I can think of how to explain it, but the show does a great job of telling the story. He destroys the .22 in a rage and moves on from the peashooter. Watchers will also notice he said he never hit a target when he was in Warden School because they only had static targets but he could hit a moving target no problem which they show in season 1. Enjoy the show!
High quality actor deserving of a high quality role in a Film. His performances in Patriot blow me away
Totally agree. I liked Patriot so much, I watched it again a while ago. It’s an underrated show. The piping monologues alone are brilliant.
His show Patriot on Amazon prime is brilliant. I highly recommend it.
It's double great!
I just finished watching it. Again. SO good!
@@dianestaudt7998 ! I know right!... don't you think the music was wonderful too?
@@dianestaudt7998 I think I've watched it five times since I found it 3 months ago and I bought the soundtrack on Amazon Prime Music 👻!
I rewatch that scene of him dancing all the time.
Really good in for all mankind
Another portrayal of a tortured soul. He's gotta win an Emmy or BAFTA one of the days!
I can’t believe they are not going to have Joe Picket season 3…such a great series…
Absolutely adore Michael Dorman

What didn’t you like about the firearms? (Asking as an avid hunter and serving police officer)…
