These are some great tips! I think I need to watch it again. I thought the tip about how to portion out the lights on the sides first and then to fill the middle with the slack was good--can see how that would save a lot of time and frustration! Beautiful mantle.

Love the mantel. You use much more than me. I'm always scared it will fall off, so I anchor mine with clear removable hooks. Haven't had a disaster since! But this year I'm adding much more. Thankyou so much for sharing

I have always wanted my garland to be big/fat/full and look professional, like the Christmas decor in the mall or in a nice hotel, which always looks so much better than what folks have in their homes. I have the tree down pat and I’m very proud of it, but never understood how to do the garland. Now I know!!!. My garland is already on the mantle but I’m going to shore it up using your tips. Running to Hobby Lobby right now for more stuff. 😁🌲
