First, thanks for the video. I am nine months into my loc journey and want to dye my locs because I'm not too fond of the gray edges lol. My hair is turning gray but mostly around the edges and it looks like I have on a white headband. I wanted to wait until my locs were at least a year old and fully locked before dying them. How long did you wait before dying your locs after locking your hair? And by the way, your locs are beautiful.
You are most welcome, Thank you for watching! LOL! the white headband made me laugh. I dyed my hair within a year of having them (not recommended) but I didnt notice any great harm. Te main things to note would be to ensure that all the dye has been washed out and keeping the locs moisturized to prevent from drying. Would love to hear about your experience once you do dye your hair.
Hey, Girl, HEEEY!! I really enjoyed your video. As I have gotten older, I notice my hair getting lighter and i do like jet black hair. I will be 3 yesrs loc'd in August and I got color wax in blue to try a little razzle dazzle on the ends but I think I will do my first blue black since Ive neen loc'd then talk myself into the blue tips. I put pipe cleaners and rock what looks like a lot of bantu knots for maybe 2 weeks then the curls. Thanks again for this video. I feel less nervous after hearing and watching you do your think.
Hello! Thanks of watching :) It didn't feel hot for me, I know sometimes people are sensitive to some of the ingredients in the hair dye and may feel a sensation.
