Awe this little baby is absolutely adorable ! 🤗 😍 Thank you for the tips, Tasha. As a new collector, i love this kind of videos. They help care better for our babies. Love and hugs 😘 😘 😘 ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
As someone who roots hair, thick rooting kinda just happens for me. 😂 I’m still working on mono-rooting to be thinner, and I need to keep practicing on painting hair!
This color of blue is so gorgeous on him Tasha!! This video was so informative. Breaking this down and taking it step by step is so helpful. I have been in this hobby since March of 2014 and I am still growing and learning every single day. I have almost 30 dolls in my collection at this point today with everything from painted hair, to human hair to silk effects, to Russian mohair, to slumberland that is slightly curly and some that is kinky and some that is stick straight. Each hair does definitely require its own kind of care and special treatment and maintenance. THANK you so much for this video.
Aww Noble in that shade of blue is just sooo cute! I really like Nobles hair, I think it's cute that it's thicker in the back. Thanks for the tips! 😊💙💕
@cindybin2001 I was under the impression that Tasha ran a doll collector's channel, not a femininity class. Her tattoos have no bearing in the quality of her advice, advice that has saved me and others hundreds of dollars in repair work. As far as I know, her tattoos don't attack anyone's race, religion, or gender. There are many tattoo free collectors who have quality channels. Feel free to follow them or mind your own business.
Hair on humans or animals are a living thing, it needs moisture and nourishment, or it dies. Once it is cut off from the source, it is also dying. When its dead, if not constantly cared for, wetted and conditioned, it will get dry and frizzy. You need to care for it from the beginning, or it will be a frizzy matted mass. Thank you. This is a great video. New artist here.
Thanks so much, Tasha! I've been wondering about how to care for my babies hair! I have 3 different types of hair! And it's nice to know how they should be treated! Thanks again! Have a great holiday!! Love you! 🎅🤶🎅 Kat
Hi Kathy! Your very welcome! You will find different tricks & things as you go along with each of your dolls hair & theirs many other collectors that have different types of conditioning formulas & steps they use to condition their dolls hair. So definitely keep your eyes open for tips. Sometimes what works well on one type of hair something else might work better on a different type, but this is what has worked for me so far. The Loreal conditioner has definitely worked well on every different type of mohair I've had as well as a toddler with human hair "I forgot to mention that in the video lol". It's all tips I gathered from other collectors & from artists as well as some trial & error. I hope some or all of it helps you with your babies different hair!! Happy Holidays my friend! 🎊🎁🎄🤶🎅🛷🕎❄☃️🍬🧸🌟🍭🦌🎄😘😘😘
His hair is beautiful. I see what you said about the artist rooting the back so thick. I guess she had a vison of the style but I agree with you. The front rooting is gorgeous. She could've continue the back the same as the front. His hair is still beautiful just more work like you said. I enjoyed this video. I need to try this on my babies. 😄 😃 😉
I've been fallowing your tips to the T on Noble's hair, I haven't had to deep condition it yet, compared to Addison his hair is so easy and she has less hair you go figure, and his hair is soooo much softer. Thank tou. 💕 ❤️ 💕
Aww it so lovely :) just love the tips the reborn is so real the oufit I love it the hair is just like mine lol messy and then it all nice great video❤❤❤!!!!!
Hii! I’m gonna get my first reborn at Christmas (yes it’s 3 months away) but I’m sooo exited!!! It’s Sofia from little dimples nursery and im soo happy! She has lots of hair so I’m tryna get tips for when I get her!
Marcellus Webb hi it’s www.reborns.com and if you type up reborn it will show lots of different artist and at the bottom there is one called dolly dimples nusery💖 all her dolls are under 200 pound and most look real the one I got was Sofia but I think else is cute too :)
Thank you for these great tips! Recently I got myself a cute toddler (Ladybug), he’s my first reborn with rooted hair and styling it drives me crazy😁, but know I’m looking forward to try it again with your advice!
Just for future notice saying plain water and distilled water can be confusing. I get your paying it's only water but I'd maby go with "plain distilled water." I had a moment of wondering if you mixed tap water and distilled water for so odd reson lol
What about with silicone? I am very nervous about having hair added to my silicone. Also, if I am going to hold her constantly, will the hair stay messed up and need extra care?
ua-cam.com/play/PLNAPwYC3TQUz-8gVHzf1fTm8z0LQv3yi3.html Here's a Playlist for you. Handling your dolls constantly will of course cause normal wear & tare & how well a doll is rooted & what type of hair will also make a difference so those are questions to ask your artist 🎨
Hi handsome baby boy my Chase is bald-headed I got him from Erica Jones he was Charlie on her channel I changed his name to Logan chase Johnson.love the tips on treating baby hair it's really good to know so thank you.just love his outfit he's gorgeous in it.much ♥️ and have a wonderful day my friend from auntie Iris 🎀🎄🎁🎅🤶🦌⛄
The lady who made my baby said to use a small amount of baby shampoo in a spray bottle of water to wet the hair to style it but I noticed most how to videos use a conditioning detangler of some sort vs a shampoo so I’m confused! She told me to look up videos on UA-cam for mohair - what do you think? My babies hair definitely needs some taming!!! Thx!
Yeah I wouldn't use shampoo to mix as that will just strip the hair of "possibly color" & what it needs to be moist, tame & managble. Since this video I have found a great product by Noodle & Boo it's their baby hair conditioning & shine spray. It works so good I now use it on my own hair everyday as well as for all my dolls hair. It's great stuff! Otherwise I would recommend what I'm sharing in the video about using a conditioning spray. Perhaps the artist ment to say mix conditioner not shampoo as conditioner is always what's recommend
@@piximommysreborns thx for your reply. I found that odd too! I’m really glad I checked and will be following what you do since you’ve outlined so well! Thank you!!!
Do you have any advice for my situation? I got my reborn and her hair was so easy to tangle and Matt. From the beginning a combing, her hair will come out. So I tried to wash it and used warm water maybe even hot but it was only for a few seconds. The hair is awful still. When you said it was like wool I understood that’s the exact texture of her hair and I hate it but I paid a lot extra to have hair and it was terrible from the beginning! Idk if I can save it which is horrible to me.
Hi, I think it's possible it could have been saved before the warm/hot water. Once that happens to anything wool I'm honestly not sure if there is a solution, but maybe something you could look up online about wool in warm water & see if there are solutions to restore it. If not & you love the doll I would suggest having him or her re rooted & consider using a different artist as the artist or asking the artist to use a different brand of mohair. Even some of the very expensive mohairs do tangle. Laying the dolls head on a piece of plastic wrap or something silk really helps keep the hair from matting in the back. I hope your able to find the answers on wool & a possible solution. Best of luck to you ❤️
No not when it's rooted correctly & you brush it with care. It's sealed on the inside so it shouldn't be falling out if you treat your collection with care 💗
Your right you shouldn't tug at mohair. Just try your best to get any knots out because leaving knots will make it worse. This particular doll had a very thick head of hair & not easy to magange 😉
Oh my Tasha my heart dropped when you said about having him re-rooted. Love his hair it is gorgeous. Thanks for the tips.
His hair is perfect, love the fullness of it .

@desireehaynes9151 Thank you friend 🧡 ✨️💕💓✨️
Thanks for the information. I have several older dolls that needed some extra conditioning on their hair and was worried about damaging their paint.
Thank you so much Tasha for the wonderful tip on maintaining the mohair. Hugs 💕❤️💕
Love!😍👍 Thanks!
It’s very calming combing /brushing a baby’s hair
It is!!! 🥰

Can you use babay oil to restore mohair to not be so course and matted???
Sweetheart baby boy. 🥰🍼
HE IS A DOLL

Maybe using plastic wrap under caps might help?

What shampoo do you recommend for your reborns
i love you baby
I don’t know that I don’t have a do it with toddlers
imommys Reborns love baby
Does it fall out over time?
No not when it's rooted correctly & you brush it with care. It's sealed on the inside so it shouldn't be falling out if you treat your collection with care 💗
I’m mad because I bought a reborn and it has vinyl hair
I wjsh you were in my family
Ese bebe tu lo hisiste
Sorry
I literally cringed watching you raking that comb through it 🙈 I know its glued in but still, not a good idea to tug at wet mohair like that
Your right you shouldn't tug at mohair. Just try your best to get any knots out because leaving knots will make it worse. This particular doll had a very thick head of hair & not easy to magange 😉
I wish I could hold him 😏
