Stats on agi and vit, using firebland and shield. Use bongun card for auto bash skill.
Krasnaya build is the better tank build for me. Parrying is very useful as it can block both physical and magical(at a lower rate) attacks. Lion Roar also procs more with it.
every time you get hit theres a chance to activate lion roar which it will automatically heal your self up.... ive been eyeing this also to take advantage of parry.... the VIT AGI build for tanking
I want to go generic tank build but I don't really pvp, do I still go Int, or Agi like some others recommend? (Thinking more of the pve stuff like ET HHH & Ygg)
Monsters do use spells too so mdef can still come in handy. Going agi does increase DPS but overall alot of times surviving is alot more valuable than an extra sturdy strike.
they said krasnaya is good for mvp tanker but to be honest, spear boomerang functions as single target provoke which you cant use with your sword build tank

Nope bash is single target and doesn't stun all the time. Having low agi also makes spamming bash harder while lions roar heal u and sturdy strike makes u tankier and does more dmg with vit investment.
in my opinion you will need some str for carrying of potions which helps you with survival.. little mdef is nothing if you get hit by a fatal skill. You can learn to dodge skill though since most of heavy hitting skills are casted by mvps on the ground

But in pvp scenarios having a thara frog/+HP card with extra def & HP from the shield is going to be better. Though in mvp scenarios it might potentially be better but it comes down to personal preference.
You are not meant to deal massive dmg as a tank. U only need to deal enough to obtain aggro and with racial cards and additional aggro u shld be able to get it with sturdy strike.
I wanted to add a section on cards but found it to be quite straightforward. You just want cards that add vit/hp (eclipse, muka, spore, peco peco/cornutus) and the usual good ones for pvp in your shield (thara frog/megaladon). I will be making a separate videos to covers cards themselves to cover the most popular/useful cards to substantiate the various builds subsequently.
Tbf the weapon just changes ur skill build but having a shield is the best imo for a tank build. This is more focused on mvp/pvp and for grinding u either go with 2h sword or spear pierce which are more effective.

use auto on provoke, and use sigils that lower provoke cd, it will guarantee the aggro.

1 hand 1 shield but u can choose to go with either 1 hand spear or sword.

You will do better with heavy spear on bosses u can tank comfortably but way tankier with excalibur so its up to u
