This episode was interesting for me personally. I am very familiar and I know alot about brain surgery. I've had it many times. I was born with (at least one of the things I was born with was Hydrocelphlaus in 1968) and so watching Brian having Brain surgery in this episode, i can relate and I had some idea how they implanted my shunt. But the show was based in the 18OOs but still I could relate to the whole brain surgery.

Tessa,you have presented yet another lesson for people who don’t particularly know much about the series. The growing personal relationship between Micheala and Sully is presented without either of them mentioning the words I love you but you see it in their actions. The townspeople are shown as also being involved in Brian’s life. She was upset that Sully was missing and she assumed he was sulking but he was praying because he didn’t know the severity of Brian’s condition until he returned.Again,we see Micheala leaning on Sully for his love,stability and comfort. He was shocked when she wouldn’t let him help because he was family./She didn’t know how to work on the brain and didn’t want to be at fault for making him a vegetable.Sully gave her the confidence she needed to to perform a successful operation. Even racism was put aside so that Robert E could be in charge of building the school Brian desired.When Micheala thought something happened to Brian because he wasn’t in the bed,she went on a seek and find mission in order to find him.She finds him marveling at the school building of course Sully wasn’t far behind to capture the importance of all three being together at the end. The only thing I didn’t like about the episode was that hideous head wrapping they put on Brian😂. You have done another marvelous job using all the right elements. Thanks❤️😁👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾.
Thank you, this is always my goals for people who don't really know the series to have an understanding of what it is about. I know that bandage were ugly, but that's what they operated with at the time, especially in small town with no hospital. I loved Grace face expression when asked if she could assist, like I'm a chef not a nurse, and the word came out of her mouth yes sure lol. I really like how the emotions were running high in that episode.
@@tessakendallmckenzie4539 Tessa,I see what your goals are for each video and you are successful in doing so. I was waiting for Micheala to jump up and smack Olive for not understanding that a woman could work and raise her children.It would have been a point well made for the writers to show that a woman who worked the land and cared for her children and husband was indeed gainfully employed but without a monetary salary.Micheala did understand that Olive wasn’t going to leave until she ate something😀.I’ll await your next lesson😀.

@@thomaswalter3328 Hi Thomas, if you are addressing me,I get my information from researching the series and characters especially Micheala and Sully. I didn’t watch the series often when it first aired but after purchasing the dvd collection two years ago,I have become an avid fan. My interest became peaked after learning that Jane and Joe had a romantic relationship for about four months or maybe five months in early 1992.I use as a source drquinnmed.com in order to learn about when episodes were filmed and aired,storylines ,characters and directors. When I watch episodes,I study actors to see how they express themselves in their characters. Jane has been in Dublin since early April as an executive producer and main character in the series Harry Wild. She has daily post on her personal FB page updating her activities. Joe is essentially a businessman but he and Jane are always looking for a acting project that they can do together. The last film which that acted in was Friendsgiving in 2020. She recommended Joe for a role. Yes ,they are best friends who keep in touch regularly. She has a couple of commitments in England before she returns home.I hope you found this information helpful😃.
