Yabai or hibai is not plum , ume is apricot. The lenticels are the truth. Closer to an almond than a plum ,but its UME not plum. But information is wonderful as usual. 😊

梅って難しいですよね😮今年伸びた枝に花が咲きます。2年生枝にはほぼ花は有りません。ホムセンの梅は今年伸びた枝しか有りませんので、ヨウガは枝先のみの場合が殆どです。花を楽しんだらまた来年も買ってくださいです。👍5〜6月頃に葉刈りをしたからと言っても管理次第で全てカガになる時もあります。🎉

花芽を葉芽に変える方法についてお話がありましたが、正しいと思います。
樹種は違いますが、藤の盆栽で葉狩をすると花芽から蔓が伸び葉も出てきます。

ウチの青軸梅は葉芽ばかりで、花が三つ位しか咲ません。骨粉、リンサン 肥料を考え治してみます。
