- In this video we see the Potato harvest and storage at arable farm Van Den Borne of Reusel in the Netherlands. The potatoes are lifted using a two AVR Puma 4.0 and 3.0 4-row bunker harvesters. Transport is done by a MAN agar truck and four tractor-trailer combinations consisting of Fendt 724, 936 tractors all with Krampe three-axle trailers. But the star of the show is the 400hp Fendt 824. At the farm the product is put in a cold storage until the factory needs the potatoes for making french fries.

I’ve done a lot of hours with the 44/44 gearbox that’s inside the 824. In combination with the fluid clutch it is a really smooth ride. The aggressive gear shifting is no need for what so ever. He’s ruining the gearbox.

In der aktuellen Klimadiskussion ist der schwarze Rauch nicht gut fürs Image der Bauern, auch wenn ich die Begeisterung verstehe, hätte ich das nur ganz kurz gezeigt.
Weißt du Blitzbirne überhaupt was schwarzer Rauch bedeutet ?
@@Speedy_exc300 ja, ich weiß das und habe auch viele Jahre in einem Lohnunternehmen gearbeitet . Ich kenne das Gefühl, aber ich weiß auch das gerade solche Bilder für das Image in der Landwirtschaft nicht gut sind! Ein paar Sekunden Rauch mit Kommentar hätten gereicht, das ist aber Zuviel Rauch und damit zeigt sich das ein Bauer heute gut überlegen sollte was er macht und zeigt.
Solange wir können sollen doch auch wir Bauern Freude haben dürfen an Sachen die nicht gut sind das ist genau wie die auto tunning Szene ist auch noch gut aber den spass Faktor darf heut zutage ja auf keinenfalls mehr fehlen
@@gabrielschwegler2597 egal ob Auto, Trecker oder Moped. Jeder sollte seinen Spaß haben, eingeschränkt, es aber gerade in dieser Zeit mit der Klimadiskussion nicht so ausführlich auf UA-cam zeigen. Denke doch mal nach. Ein Umweltschützer kann dieses Video als Beweis für eine Anzeige nehmen. Was meinst du was dann für eine Diskussion mit Landwirtschaft anfängt? Ich habe in meiner Jugend auch mein Moped frisiert und den Auspuff leer gebrannt. Meinem Sohn musste ich das verbieten …. Es brennt in der Landwirtschaft und du willst den schwarzen Rauch zeigen weil du Spaß hast?
One thing you have to remember is this particular tractor is mainly used for tractor pulling hence the heavy black smoke according to the video it's only used once for pulling trailers
Yo, that 824 looks and sounds so good rolling coal out there. No cruise control or GPS or linked throttle or HST either, so it's all manual for the driver. And fun!

‘Doorschakelen’ is ook helemaal niet nodig: de 44/44 bak met vloeistofkoppeling rijdt als een vario, als je er mee om weet te gaan….
that tractor sounds great, but although pull tractors are required to be able to still be able to function as a tractor (in theory), it's not that common they're actually used in the field. Must really chew through the diesel when it's tuned up like that
Also beim Fendt sollte man echt mal unter die Haube schauen. Denn normal ist dieser Ausstoß nicht gerade. Auch die Bodenverdichtung bei Lkw & Co sollte man mitbedenken.
Habe Landwirte gesehen, die machen sowas anderster.
Dit geeft niet echt een mooie beeldvorming voor de milieugekkies zo veel rook.
Ook als je geen milleugekkie bent kan je je afvragen of je dit nu wel zou moeten willen

The idea that some people are so afraid of a little diesel smoke because it will turn potatoes black. I have seen the same thing on a potato farm 40 years ago here in southern Ontario Canada. No one complained about diesel smoke. I am so sick and tired of our present day sissy and touchy society.

At 3:16 it says it's normally used tractor pulling but one day a year they pull trailers with it

@@spike3082 Someone who thinks it's cool, incomplete combustion because that makes Greta angry.
it's caused by running so rich the turbo can't supply enough air to burn cleanly. It's done to increase the power of the engine by loading the cylinders with as much fuel as they'll take, but it results in some of the fuel not being burned completely and with diesel that unburnt fuel comes out as black smoke. In a gasoline engine it's not as visible and in performance cars the excess fuel is normally ignited in the exhaust pipe, which is why you'll hear race cars sputter and backfire.

Mooie video. Prachtige trekker, maar de kenmerkende fluit van de turbo jammer genoeg haast niet gehoord. Als je hem wat rustig laat lopen dan hoor die wel. Dit was een hele dot tussengas en zwarte rook😉
