I booked a last minute cruise on the Glory for Memorial Day weekend just for the heck of it. I’ve never been on carnival and had no idea about the refurb until I saw your video just now. You made my day! 😅
We've sailed on the Glory when she was brand new out of Port Canaveral back in 2004. We have sailed on MSC Seascape last year, and last month we sailed on MSC Seashore. We have been impressed with MSC.
We sailed on the Meriviglia out of Port Canaveral. It was the most beautiful ship we have been on. We thoroughly enjoyed everything. Hope you enjoy it. Going to check out the Glory.
The Glory was my first ever cruise, I have been on her twice and I love her way more than the new ships like mardi gras the vibes are way different. Glad to see she is getting some much deserved enhancements, I'm going on her sister the valor in November, I hope I like her just as much
I completely agree with your statement. We love mid-size ships and below for this exact reason. We still love big cruise ships as well but prefer the smaller size.
New cruisers here! We retired to Florida and we constantly get promos from cruise lines - we decided to give it a whirl! MSC is awesome and their price point is perfect! MSC Seascape from Miami was our first (Nov '23) and we fell in love with the sparkling clean/new ship. Then we tried Norwegian Escape next - a few months ago sailing from Port Canaveral. Norwegian was very nice, especially their staff, but the ship is in need of a facelift. My wife and girlfriend are currently sailing on MSC Seashore and will return to Port Canaveral tomorrow, 4-21-24. Wife says MSC Seashore is just as awesome - so we will sail from Port Canaveral aboard Seashore from now on! We find this port MUCH easier to navigate than Miami for retirees! MSC's food is great, their staff is over the top and their island is absolutely wonderful! Their Hibachi restaurant onboard is absolutely the best I have experienced in my 72 years. The slight European flair at the buffet makes it very interesting for us Americans. Quite pleasing. A group of (10) of us retirees will be sailing on MSC Seashore in December for a week to the Bahamas. Book an MSC cruise out of Port Canaveral, and I think you will be pleasantly surprised. Peace from Daytona Beach, Florida.
The Port Canaveral port is SO much better then Miami haha 😆 agree with you 1000%. We have yet to do MSC from Port Canaveral but looking forward to it in the near future! MSC was super easy to board in Miami but the drive in was a nightmare. Thanks so much for sharing and hope to see you on a cruise one day!
My family will be sailing on the Glory for Thanksgiving 2025. It will be the first cruise for some of the family members, specifically the kids and we will be going to the new Carnival private island Celebration Key. Sooo looking forward to it!
@funnelheads We're on the Jun 16th cruise, but we'll be watching for a video of your cruise so we know what to expect! Thanks for responding and have a great cruise!! 😎👍
Seascape is gorgeous, have a great cruise! We are looking at the first few sailings of World America. We just need to figure out if Rhett is off from school then.

We love to hear the opinions about MSC because so many people have still never even heard of them as a cruise line. Thanks for the feedback!
I'm glad to see that Glory went into dry dock for updates.
Same, looking forward to getting on a Conquest class ship. We haven't been on one in many years. Last one was Valor in 2015.
Sailed the glory in September of 2023 was a great time🎉🎉
We can’t wait to experience her. Hopefully sometime next year!

That is awesome to hear because the Seascape is one of the most beautiful ships, we have been on, so we want to see how they compare.
My wife and I are taking our 25th anniversary cruise on the Carnival Glory in June
Congrats! How exciting! 25 years is a big one! We are almost at 15 years ourselves. Have an amazing cruise!

she needed a little TLC, excited for you, have an amazing cruise!
I loved you railing against of the tyranny of the arcade. Keep fighting!
Haha 😂 me and the arcade are mortal enemies. The sad part is I enjoy playing games/video games but it’s such a rip off!

It’s the wife and girlfriend for me Steve 🙌🏾😏😌
👍! Have two MSC cruises booked. World America inaugural and the Seascape inaugural out of Galveston. You should get on the WA inaugural.
You will love the Seascape, gorgeous ship!
Hi! At the end of your video there is a clip of you zip lining with the pool underneath, which stop/excursion was that? Thank you!
That is Amber cove, located near the free pool. It’s not an excursion but you can do it unlimited for the day $20 adult or $10 for kids.
I’m booked for a 7 day sailing on MSC Seashore next month out of Port Canaveral. It’ll be my first time cruising with MSC.
Awesome! I can't wait to hear your thoughts, have an amazing cruise!
@@funnelheads thank you!

MSC is not for me but I’m glad there is still an affordable option out there for those on a budget.
Which line is your preference? We have tried a few cruise brands but always open to others!
We'll be going on our first MSC cruise in june on the Meriviglia out of Brooklyn, NY. Looking forward to it!! 😎👍
what date? We are going June 2nd!
