Out of the three, one guide rod would not function in any of the three guns, G43, G43X, or G48. It does make racking the slide a little heavier though but it reduces felt recoil and helps with failure to feed issues and ejection issues... A guy's gun had FTF issues and it solved that issue as well as allowing his dad to shoot his 10mm Glock again because the recoil became much more manageable...I was gonna go for a heavier guide rod initially but wanted it to also do more and found the DPM recoil guide rod... They give you 3 different springs (weighted)...I know I sound like a salesman but it's really that practical... There's also an internal spring sitting inside the rod that cushions the impact of the slide after firing... Just an all around sound investment
Just got one and installed it. It took a lot just to lock the slide back. Makes me wonder if when it's empty of the slide will actually lock back. Reason I even bought this, is I bought the glock pyramid trigger gen 2 set up and installed it. Loaded up three magazines as I didn't have a lot of time, and each magazine had one feed failure where the round wouldn't fully seat (It was close but obviously not close enough) into the chamber. Hopefully I'm going to get out here soon, and try this out. Other than that the trigger system is absolutely phenomenal.

I’m having an issue with misfires on my new 43x. 10 out of every 100 rounds are misfire. When taking the slide off the frame, the OEM guide rod falls out. When just racking the slide a few times, the guide rod will either jump up a notch or come completely out. Tried with a OEM guide rod from my local shop and the same thing happened. Should I upgrade the guide rod or just have Glock look at the firearm? Thanks!

@@darrinfry2251 No, not at all. I myself have no experience with the G43x tungsten guide rods, as my G43x still uses the stock one, which I find to be just fine - I will likely purchase one of the tungsten ones to try. My comment was directed at your Glock 19, which I *did* replace the guide rod with, and after installation I experienced several malfunctions over nearly 1k rounds, which were the first I had ever experienced with my gen 3 G19 (note, gen 3, not 5 as you mentioned). Swapped back to the factory, flawless performance ever since, and because it shoots perfectly fine for me with the stock guide rod, I will just continue to use it. In my experience, training with any new "upgrades" is paramount, and if it works for your gun, and you trust it with your life, awesome. For me, for my G19, stock is king (aside from sights - Glock sights suck)
I added a disconnectors from the store. I was told these enhancement could land you legal trouble in the event you legally defend yourself. As this would be a modification from factory specs. Is this true
No, unless you engrave or put "death to everybody" 💀 or remove the safety parts of a semi auto pistol you will be okay. I add a few custom parts to my Glocks. Slide locks, slide stops, 3.5lb double diamond connectors, stainless steel pin kits, steel night sights, gold TiN type pistol barrels. ✅️

I bought a pyramid trigger during Black Friday and was supposed to get a extended takedown lever free but NO they didn’t give me one. Why?
you're lucky you got anything at all lol
😂 took me a month to get my trigger from them.. works flawlessly tho, glad I did it.
How can I order tungsten guide rod with you ?
Go to Glockstore.com and search "tungsten guide rod"
But does it effect reliability? Just curious never bought tungsten guide rod before
for the better. You're replacing plastic with Tungsten!
@@glockstore such a sales response… lol
i always hear that these cause failures I'm hesitant to buy.
So what lbs should be ideal for a gen 5 glock 19 ??
Whatever it came from the factory with. The G19 is perfect right out of the box, aside from sights and maybe a disconnector swap. Maybe.
@@danovichi so you saying that Thompson guide rod don't work
@@darrinfry2251 No, not at all.
@@danovichi okay sir thank you 😊
2:00 Every firearm is loaded, especially when it's not.
has anyone got this? i am hearing reliability issues
How often will the tungsten guide rod have to be change after 5K-10K rounds?
Springs wear out. The tungsten won't wear out.
@ much appreciated! That's how I should have framed the question (the spring is what I meant to say).
Will this fit the Glock 48 MOS?
Yes.
How much does the guide rod weigh?
watch the video from this point: 3:27
Does it fit the G43?
It's the same upper/slide, yes
Does it work on a Glock 43
Yes!
This place even open, anymore? Tried to order on the website.. NOPE... Called the number and waited in hold for 40 minutes.. TWICE. If it's open, it's shit for service and accessibility. Never tried this hard to spend money and I'm self employed!
I call bullshit, a spring is a spring.
e=mc squared 🤣🤣
These products are not glock parts use at your own risk.
