Corn is definitely my favorite veggie. But I actually love potatoes too! I need to make a trip to Always in Stitches.

I have to agree with you, pickled beets are delish. The recipe for orange scones looks fantastic. Also, I've recently got hooked on Little Houses patterns. They are so fun to make. Thank you for all your hard work.

I love beets on salad bars because that is something I don't have at home. I loved seeing all the new things!

Thanks for the show! I saw a couple patterns I NEED to have! Peter--not to worry how long it takes to stitch binding. I can take 2-3 weeks since I am doing other projects at the same time. It eventually all gets done.

Nancy, what is the fabric Peter's using for the cabin stitching on Aida? (I couldn't hear what he said.) It's looks so pretty. We did a lot of backstitching back in the day (the 80's). Everything has changed so much over the years. I started on Aida and then went to linen. A lot of us did, as linen wasn''t available when I started. (I'm old.) I love pickled beets and the thinly sliced cucumbers in sour cream sauce. Love a good salad bar. Thanks for the videos you and Peter make. I really like you giving the details on the patterns and showing the threads. I look forward to each one you and Peter do.

The fabric I started with was 18ct Floba Oatmeal. I had to switch to 32ct linen because I stitch in hand using the sewing method and my stitches were slipping under the fabric threads. I was stitching 2 floss strands over 1 fabric thread. Now on the linen I stitch 2 floss strands over two linen threads. I am glad I switched. It looks way better. If I did the poke and stab on the Floba It would of looked good and worked out well. I am now using 32ct Vintage Country Mocha on the reverse side of the fabric.

    Hey Peter -
Italian Love Cake (if that’s the same one we make) - that would be worth the price of admission 😂
Not in need of a cookbook though.

Beets are not my favorite. I love Lima beans. I bought a reindeer and I missed the bee container bummer
