I'm from Bradenton Florida, and am familiar with the Tropicana Juice plant. A: Smell the Citrus Scent early in the morning as they used to burn the orange peels B: Don't get stuck at a crossing with the Juice Train, you'll be there a minute.
Haha yes sir I’m from Florida my self on the east coast near port Canaveral. I always go there when I head out from home time. I love the smell of fresh orange peels 🤩 I never got in counter with the juice train yet lol since it seems like I always get there around midnight and head on out. 🤷♂️ thanks for watching I appreciate a fellow Floridian 🤝

Like I said, never crank your dollies all the way the ground leave them up an inch when it comes to a high trailer drop your airbags move over a little bit, put the pin on the fifth wheel then put air back in the bags will lift the trailer up so you can crank the dolly legs up makes it easy

Good morning my friend.
First, family is the second most important thing. First being God Almighty.
Second, the reason we are out there is for our family. Leaving our loved ones is the hardest thing to do. But our love gets us back in the seat every time. The pain of separation is only softened by knowing that we are doing our best to provide for those we love.
Yes sure it’s always so hard to leave when you’re at home but you always have to remember why you’re leaving and who you’re doing it for 😃 supporting and providing for our family is very important yes it’s hurtful and painful but we have to do it. Because without us they wouldn’t have food, clothes, fun time etc.

I was a yard driver at tropicana for about a year. Place can be confusing for drivers so I'd always try to park by the main road to help with directions if I had down time
Yeah the Tropicana plant sometimes is really confusing. But since I always go there after hometime I’m good I know the ropes now and learn the areas where loaded are where to drop mt where to pick up the hidden unfinished product way back there in D

I don't have a family to leave...I'm all alone in the world. I'd love to live on the road like camping. I also don't have my own house ....I need a place to stay .
Wow yeah definitely would recommend getting a cdl it’s worth it for you live in truck shower at truck stop for free etc maybe the only bill you have is phone bill

Let me tell you why your trailer is to high. The air bags get low of air and drops the rear of the trailer which rises the front of the trailer. Solution. Whenever that happens, back up to the trailer, hook up your air line and put air to the trailer so that the air bags fill up. Then apply brakes to trailer and hook up. That should solve that problem

Hi, I like the long hrs video. Also, I want asking or share experiences with Europe trucks, when you found truck and trailer are not on the same height during coupling , you can reduce air on the drive suspension until tractor fitted properly for coupling

It is hard to leave your family. I used to drive for the forest service and was gone sometimes as long as 2 weeks, it was hard to leave my little girl for that much time. I wonder why the guys put a loaded trailer so high? Nice video, looking forward to part 2. Take care

Usually the previous driver drops the trailer way too high so I have to crank it down and it could be a struggle. Thank you part 2 coming soon.

Why do is see other Prime drivers filling up on fuel at the lowest price they find ?
Because you usually have to pay for the fuel so every dollar counts and it all adds up tolls fuel wear and tear tires maintenance so the cheaper the fuel the more you save for your pocket

why not fill the truck up all the way
They only give me certain amount for fuel per load so I just follow that plus filling up it’s a waste unless it cheap. Like yesterday I was in Illinois the road ranger was $2.24 a gallon with out discount and we’re heading out west so we definitely topped it off for sure. 👍🏼

What’s tha plastic covers on wheels for?
It’s meant for air dynamics and saving fuel creates less drag.

I’m lease at prime it’s not bad and it’s not at its best right now leasing wise but over all I would highly recommend prime to you and you can also use me as a reference if you’d like on your application. Do you already have your cdl?

When you go home for a week or longer do you have your dm take extra money out of your gross or do you hit the road in the negative
I usually go negative and just working it out with a few loads then I’m good again

@@Joshuatl23 around $1200 usually but you can get loads that are paying $4800 if you’re at the right place in the meat 🥩 states
