I am a Tsinghua student myself. Tuition of Chinese universities is rather low, or even a negative one, as most international students can easily get access to generous scholarships. However, at least till now, there are rarely any English programs and they require every international student to have a good command of Chinese. They don't really need a high GPA or SAT or GRE score, but you should pass interviews that focus on your Chinese capacity and ideas towards certain topics. Anyway, getting into PKU or THU is not a challenge for those who have already learnt Chinese. Many international students in Tsinghua are actually Asian who failed to get into top universities in America.

Can you recommend any medical universities which doesn't specifically require to speak or learn Chinese.
Just go to their official university admissions website and select the ones that fit your criteria / preferences.

If you don't speak chinese and don't want to learn it, you should consider another destination. It will be hard to study for years there without knowing the language and the culture. Moreover, the Chinese Government gives scholarship in order to attract great international students in their country and/or to reinforce their international relations
So if you don't learn chinese, you won't be very interesting for them, unless you're a very remarkable student

Hi prashidika apadhyay, for Tsinghua University, You need to take a Chinese entrance test called HSK which tests your ability to understand basic Chinese language and basic everyday communication in order to study in the university and in order to pass/meet those requirements, you need to pass HSK Level 5 or above and score over 60 points in each subject in order to be accepted. For Peking University, I'm not quite sure but I believe it should be similar with HSK Level 5 or level 6. I hope this helps!!!
For Peking university they have a separate admissions exam of their own for international students (that they will have you take once they approve the other parts of your application, if I remember correctly). It consists of Chinese, math, and English.

HI Jeewani Diyagama, You need to be 18 years old to be applicable for Tsinghua University for any degree, If you are under 18, you need to bring supporting documents and they might consider you. The Civil Engineering course is taught in Chinese, and you can see the requirements by going on their official website, click on admission, and scroll down to eligibility. I am studying in Tsinghua. There are no 100% English courses taught here, but there are options for some classes like calculus that are taught in English. Otherwise, most of the other subjects are taught in Chinese, and they are mandatory.
Be sure you are fluent in Chinese before coming, I know many students who have HSK level 5 proficiency but ended up failing the Chinese classes. Some of them just got expelled because they failed too many classes.

If the university admission officer or professors didn't reply your email, it maybe the following reasons:
1.the student seats of the school or the professors are full, pls try to find another;
2.your academic performance (GPA,publications,ect.)or research proposal did not meet the requirements of the school or the professors based on their own criteria;
3.your email might be filtered to the SPAM box, pls resend the email by changing another email box.
