i had the same phone at that time (2014) and now after having a iphone and i look back , its just wow........
When phone's were stylish different and compact 😭😭 missing those days now every phones looks same.
This phone and the Lumia 1320 were my dream phones when they got launched during my teenage years. If Microsoft would re-launch the Lumia 1320 and 1520 with the same form factor, but with some upgrades such as a triple-camera setup, a slightly larger battery and newer internals, and an unlockable bootloader, I'd go for those straightaway!
Nokia Lumia had one of the best hardware in the world. It's a pity their crap appstore and worthless updates ruined that phone ... I loved my 525....
I m watching this video in July 2020... Cause I really miss Lumia Devices ... The killer animations of Windows Phone's live tiles and another animations...

The Nokia Lumia range was definitely a resurgence effort by the once household brand, however the poor quality Windows OS let it down severely.
I still remember owning the Nokia Lumia 930 phone (my first ever smartphone) and the hardware blew me away, however the poor OS led to poor battery life and bugs everywhere.
How good was those days with Lumia...Only for a few backdrops Lumia has ended it's Legacy.. Company was focused on sales and it's brand value which lead them for loose their market
These windows phones were my dream phones when I was in 8th and 9th standards.....😍😍😍

One of the amazing Phone I have ever used Unfortunately Battery lasted for just 18 months so switched to Apple. I never had typing errors with this beast. Nokia Should bring this back again on Android if not windows.

hey ranjit...as this phone has an ips lcd and not an amoled screen...the clock that shows when the screen is off (nokia glance)...doesnt that burn battery.or is there another small sort of display on the bottom for the clock...or just the whole screen turns on which will be visible in dark??
It's the Glance feature you can adjust it's behavior via the settings, it will display the clock info etc for a while or you can disable it if you want, it is not always on at the default setting but does display the clock & notifications for a while I guess its using some of it's sensors to detect if you are around.
I noticed that though I kept it on it did not drain that much of battery, but as I said you can disable it if you want regarding what effect it has on battery need to test it a lot more.
***** Glance screen uses proxitimity sensor and set it up on peek mode so when u hover ur hand over the sensor the glance screen becomes active

Whew.. Thanks a lot. Thought you won't be reviewing this phone as you're not a fan of large phones and that too windows! Please tell me is this the right moment to take the giant leap of faith? I mean shift to windows OS. How bad is the lack of apps. Heard even a proper UA-cam app is not available. Let me know your thoughts after your usual one weeks daily driver usage. Let me know how badly you missed android after a week if you do that is. Also please compare all aspects of the OS with android please. Does it really justify winning the champions league on gsmarena.

I won't be using the Windows Phone as my primary phones as it still has a lot of gaps for my daily usage scenario, also it does not play well with Google services like Gmail, UA-cam, G+ etc even setting up Gmail a/c is not a straight setup it's just too much steps and hoops that I have to jump to make even Gmail work properly, I know Google and MS are having a spat but that does not help, thought the apps selection has improved a lot during the last 6 months but still its a catch up in the apps dept.
