The quality of the tape doesn't matter to me. God Bless youRowoches, for just giving us a chance to see and honor this remarkable woman on the 50th anniversary of her being received into God's arms. 🙏❤️🖤💚💗💕💞💚🖤❤️🙏
I love Sister Ward. I began my Black Gospel collection with her version of "When the Saints Come Marching In," and I have thousands of songs in that & my heart now. Rest in peace, Ms. Ward.
@@Rowoches, I was looking for a spiritual version of the song (apologies to Louis Armstrong) on iTunes and tried hers. I heard it and thought, "That sounds great! I wonder if she has more songs on here." The rest is history!
Hello, Thank you so much for uploading this clip. I had a VHS tape of various gospel artists on TV shows and the Clara Ward Singers I had on there on the Mike Douglas Show singing on of my favorites “When We All Get To Heaven” and yes they tore it up lol. But thanks to a crazy ex wife she damaged all the Gospel memorabilia I had LOL. But again thanks for uploading this. Loved the Ward Singers.
I wasn't up at that time. UA-cam has it to where you can schedule your uploads to post. I have something scheduled to post on the 27th of this month also.
@Devin Neitzert No, she was not a part of this particular lineup. This was filmed in 1970. Marion Williams left the Ward Singers in 1958, along with some other members. The ones that left became the Stars of Faith of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Кого волнует, что думает какой-нибудь невежественный русский тролль? Who cares what some clueless Russian troll thinks? (Sorry, Rowoches -- I'm not as peaceful-minded as you. Thanks for sharing this great, rare clip.)

I most definitely appreciate your comment. Thank You! Also, you're more than welcome for the video. I'm glad it has blessed you!
She had such a sad life. Hope she's resting peacefully now.
Parts of her life were sad, but she truly left a rich legacy behind.

That's so awesome! "When The Saints" is one of her most popular songs and she sung it quite a bit in concerts.

Thank you so much for posting this gem!
You're welcome, my brotha!
They churched that thing right on up!!
They surely did!
I really could have seen Mattie moss Clark and Clara Ward as good friends. If they weren’t I could see them as being close
Yes‼️
Clara Ward was definitely a perfectionist. You better watch for her cues or you will catch that side eye 😂 and don't let Gert be on stage 🤦🏽♂️
❤️😎
I didn’t think you would be up lol

1:42 they kinda got off beat a little lol Agnes was looking like “that was my run Madeline” 😂
Viola was grooving lol.🤣🤣🤣
Yes, she was 🙂
Is this the same appearance where they sang Wade In The Water?
No, that's another episode.
Didn’t recognize Marion Williams was she in this lineup?

Was this on Shindig?
