Thanks for one of the first basic tutorials on this, but I have a question if you wouldn't mind. It took almost 40 minutes for all the shaders to compile when I placed the character in the scene, and I have a very powerful computer. Is this normal, or is there some setting I need to adjust first?

Are you saying that there is no option for speeding this up without jumping up to a 1000 power supply with an RTX 3080 or better?

Just got ahold of the guy that built this computer for me about three years ago, looks like it's intel's newest, along with an RTX3090 and all the items I need to stay doing what I've been called to do. I appreciate your time, keep up the great tutorials, we all appreciate them.
The timing of this is so good, otherwise I would have had to animate a bunch of characthers myself for a schoolproject that I am doing
You may want to open the crowd map to see how you spawn the animated characters walking around.
It is really easy to add more /new metahumans to this..

Hi, i am totally new in unreal. When i add the sample to my project i don´t have the BP_crowd_character, only the BPI_Crowd_Character and the BP_rowdCharacterDataAsset. Do i have to create it or how does it work? Thanks for your tutorials. Great work! :)

I Always have some weird shadows on clothes when I use ray traced lights on it ... I don't understand why those characters doesn't support Ray Tracing .. 🤔
nah i think it only works with lumen
