In some cases Ubisoft didn't get copyrights to use a song in game so they needed to change this song and put another one in his place, for example, Sweet Dreams was replaced for Darkest Hour. Sometimes it was before they record a choreography and some cases after choreography is ready, so today I'll show you guys. Songs that have been replaced in Just Dance for some reason

It's possible that it was due to a licensing issue. Robot Rock was released under the Virgin Records record label, while Get Lucky was under Columbia Records (both songs would've been in JD2014, that's why I'm comparing both of them). The only thing is that a different song from the same Virgin Records label - Da Funk - was already featured in JD3. Maybe the record label's licensing policy has changed since then, or maybe the whole process would've taken too long and the game wouldn't be able to release in time. But this, of course, is just a theory.

dude when i saw thumnail i was like "sweet dreams are made of this isn't it?" and it start but since kelvin had copyrighted cause yt it was actually sweet dreams are made of this cause there was tiny bit of are mad- somthing like that and i really love sweet dreams but fact they had to be repleaced is sad :(
edit: the songs are either copyrighted or had techinal difficulties with the song writers and choreo idk that all possiblitys of why it was replaced

Nope. First of all Sweet dreams was leaked. Also all the codenames for each song is in the files of the game. Plus one of the rewards when darkest hour was released, it said play Sweet dreams

There was multiple leaks with the song for over a year, the old title card said sweet dreams, even when the event dropped, it said "play sweet dreams" on one of the rewards. Also, she's still clearly lip syncing to Sweet Dreams.
