    Thanks for sharing your experience! It's soooo good to hear your honest experience becausedoctors tell people that things will "level off." But common sense says, there's an alien foreign object in your body and the body will always be trying to purge it. It's like what dentists say with metal amalgams or with root canals. The body will ALWAYS be fighting those foreign objects.

    I am so happy i came across your video, i was thinking it was me .. but after listening to your story, i think it's best to contact my doctor and tell her, my painful year and i cant take it no more, i don't wanna take hormonal pills really, but as you say, something has to change, as i write this down im in excruciating fertile paincramps, with a heatpack, about to curl up and cry. Something has to happen! Im done

    I finally got mine removed today after 8 years of heavy, long painful period. I also felt like it gave me bad mood swings during my period. Removal wasn’t painful. They recommended to have it removed while on my period. The removal wasn’t bad. My doc asked for a big cough and boom it was out!

    So glad your pain wasn’t so bad. Mine was excruciating and I was in agony for months. 😢 it did settle down but I’ve just got it removed and wondered if all the issues Ive suffered since have been because of it. Including the fact I’m anaemic. Maybe it’s my 8 day periods? Excited to see how I feel now.

    I’m sitting here, watching you share your experience, while eating some pizza, but I literally just got done removing my own copper iud. I said a prayer to God to make sure nothing went wrong with my at home removal and I’m perfectly okay!
    Dude, my strings were like 3” long! And my cervix usually is very easy to find, it sits like right there ya know, but i have never bled more in my life whilst having this iud in me!
    Like filling a pad and super tampon within a couple hours, and the cramps were also super awful! I have absolutely been having copper toxicity symptoms, major depression, major anxiety, heart racing, palpitations, mood swings, knee and back pain, so I was so anxious to get it out that I literally just did it myself a few moments ago.
    I felt a little sick to my stomach afterwards, and it was painless to pull out, kind of difficult to get a good hold on the strings cause of the slippery-ness going on, but I currently have very, very mild cramping and I bled a tiny bit, like it came out on the iud, but I feel a relief already.

    I'm a Christian as well and will not use birth control in my marriage. condoms will be my form of birth control when I get married. I feel like if my husband wants me to suffer so we can have condomless sex that it's extremely selfish. I've had two IUD and they all caused me excruciating pain that I would curl up in a ball and cry all throughout my period. I even had cramps when I wasn't menstruating. If that means a man wouldn't marry me because of it so be it. That's how strongly I feel about my hate for birth control. I tried hormonal and non hormonal. never again it's so unnatural and many women suffer all in the name of freedom.

    • @ThisFaithfulHome
      @ThisFaithfulHome  Рік тому +1

      I totally feel you on that! After trying different forms of birth control hormonal and non, and learning the dangers of them on our bodies, I stay far away from them. Communication and sacrifice (for both husband and wife) is huge in a relationship and something I find very important in this topic.

      @Brandiisbeloved tell your husband to get a vasectomy if he wants no condoms. That seems fair to me 🤷🏼‍♀️ it's easily reversible and is practically pain free. I think all men should get them. Women suffering is so not worth it when there is an easy answer.

    I’ve had my paraguard for over a year and I have horrific periods! Minimum of 8 days and I bleed so heavy I got through super plus tampons I’m like a few hours it’s crazy! Having mine removed in a few days and I can’t wait!

  • @LillyBilly121

    I’ve had the opposite experience- the insertion was EXTREMELY painful. I couldn’t even steady my breath and I was embarrassed because I was practically whimpering! The cramps from my uterus being dilated and the piercing from the tool they used was the most painful experience. I’ve had multiple surgeries, chronic ear pain, and teeth removed without numbing…the IUD insertion was up there on the same level for me.
    It took me 7 days to heal from the trauma on my uterus, in extreme pain and the most intense bloating ever. After that, I’ve had a bit more cramps than normal and a bit heavier flow but other than the occasional jolt of pain in my lower back, it has been a good experience.

    I have my copper iud a year now, and since I have it, I'm monthly 2 weeks in pain. I always felt my ovulation, but i could handle it. Since I have the iud, I have extremely bad cramps my fertile period, then I'm a couple of days cramp free and 5/6 days bf my period starts my cramps starts even worse, that I have a hard time getting through the days in pain! When my period comes in, I am pain free. And this for a freaking year, I had it checked out with internal echo, after 6 months. there was nothing wrong the gynaecologist said, it was perfectly placed. I was like okay, I'll see how it maybe will be fine, 6 months later now, I can't take the pain anymore, it makes me feel so sick and I have two kids, and we don't want to have more children. Insertion was so painful, and I'd birth 2
    , i did read it can hurt less if you already had children.. but at this moment, I try dealing with the pain, bc I don't want to get pregnant no more and my partner doesn't want to ✂️.. but I'm done with using any birth control.. iknow chances are still there to get pregnant with iud, but without.. we're playing with fire.. I also have pms and at this moment I just don't now how to continue .. I doubt keeping the iud or getting rid of it. My periods are not longer or worse ever since : 3 days and 4th day it's almost done. Someone told me to get a other one. Mayb it will give less monthly pain. But I don't want to go through the insertion again. I also know that every person reacts different on these things.. mine happened to be not positive. The pain is unbearable

      @AmanDa-pb2sr Рік тому

      Update! I did took it out 12/12/23, and since that moment, I never had these painful days. So conclusion, that uid was making me feeling sick. Listen to your body! I wish I knew this beforehand, I did my research, but it's more common than I thought.. I'm not against uid. I'm mayb going to try the Mirena uid, I know when it's not okay.
      I dont have any video uploads on my page, but mayb I should do a video of this for my dutch people.

    I think it solidly took me one year to get used to the paraguard. Got pregnant after 7 years of having the device, even though it was placed correctly. Not sure how I feel about it now. It worked until it stopped working I guess! Hopefully it progresses. Got it removed a few days ago, increasing the odds for miscarriage.

    • @ThisFaithfulHome
      @ThisFaithfulHome  2 роки тому

      So I was on the hormonal birth control for maybe a month after I went off the iud and hated it. And went the natural family planning route. And my hormones were so much more balanced after going off everything! I was able to be most in tune with my body that way. We did get pregnant several months after going off everything but we were also trying at that point too. But now I’m 9 months postpartum and I’m not on any form of birth control and my body feels so balanced again.

      That’s the narrative that’s heavily pushed by the industry but it’s just not reality. Sooo many women have suffered an array of symptoms that haven’t been studied, but are very real. I thought the same as you because I trusted my doctor, but realized over time that my extreme pain, weight gain, and mood swings were likely from my copper IUD. I got it removed 3 weeks ago and am feeling a world of difference. I’m sending you love!♥️♥️ do lots of research and trust yourself, don’t let any doctor tell you you’re wrong about what you’re experiencing.
