Vroeger bij ons thuis was het alleen maar formule 1 en daar geef ik persoonlijk niet veel om, is mij veel te braaf en het blijft allemaal heel jammer genoeg. Dag Yannick, Als je een keer een wedstrijd in het echt wilt volgen raad ik je aan om eens op de website of Facebook te kijken van ase bangers emmen. Zij organiseren meerdere wedstrijden per jaar met als hoogtepunten de teamrace in juli en de blue oyster trophy in oktober.
We never had any at Emmen. In the UK they had but that was because a driver got out of hi car during thr race and when they were racing without a h-frame, doorplates etc.
The cages around the drivers are really strong box section steel and the floor & doors are plated with thick steel. If you.look closely at the big crashes you'll see the whole car crumbles except the drivers compartment. They get a few broken bones but fatalities are virtually nonexistent
I've never been to Emmen. But the quality of banger racing there is 1 st class. I come from a Banger racing family here in Ireland and at big meetings here and in the UK sometimes they take no prisoners in tackling another opponent. I agree all banger cars are fully supported with steel on the drivers door and h frame roll cages . The action looked amazing and as always very good clear footage. Well done emmon.

Do they use 4 cylinder engines in the large cars instead of the v8 engines? Great video as usual !
They use different engines. Some use ford, others use volvo or jag engines. All engines are allowed as long as it aint a turbo etc.
Are they racing for trophey?, bragging rights?, or whip lash?
Winner gets a trophy just like best entertainer
