My uncle has this car!! It's over 300.000km and it's still going pretty great!! The engine is very powerful and it's a pretty reliable car!! He is very satisfied and has it so many years!! Amazing car
Ahh yes, very comfortable car! The only problem we had with our 1.5 dCi was waterproofing and (bc of the water) faulty electronics.. the estate is so roomy, I could sit behind my mom with one leg over the other with a laptop on my lap like some kind of CEO. Our engine began rattling at 300k km and the car got exported to Eastern Europe if I'm not mistaken :)
Rented one once in Marseille, this Megane was a better car than a Golf Mk 4 and you could fit a mountain bike with the wheels off in the boot with the seat up and the parcel shelf in place! Was just about to say the plastics hold up better than the flakey rubbery finish of VAG of that period then noticed the buttons had fallen off the steering wheel 🤣. Nice drive 👍
A yes this Reno in my country it's known as the alien Reno or the allien ship due to the future looks and how it look like a space ship I always wonder how it look inside and how drive it if it's good to drive of not ?but it's a Frenche car it must be good ride I guess who who it run until be have for owur own I like this car it has agresive look on front and on the back look like um like a human ass 😂😂 however it's nice looking car if it's cheep on gas and cheep for parts then it's great car as first tnx for my reguewest agin old cars like this are fun to look and drive U have so lucky job drive such legends keep it up 👍👍
Even when you say 20 years, it's weird. Car looks like 10 years old at the most. It was good that this generation produced until 2010. I have an interest in the Sedan versions of this model. Don't warm to hatchback and SW. A spaceship from 2002.

Renault is making a huge mistake by not selling in USA. I wish this vehicle was sold in the USA at the time. I was living in America until 5 years ago and I could not see this vehicle. French cars never existed.When I came to my father on vacation in the summer, I liked to drive my father's car. When I moved to Turkey, my father gave me his car and bought himself a Mercedes E200.
Ieri mattina Samanta Vendittelli sono andato a fare un po' di spesa al Lidl a Pescara Colli (PE) con la 500 di mia madre e al ritorno verso casa alla rotonda che hanno messo all'uscita del Lidl ho incrociato una Renault Megane e pensavo Samy fossi tu poi ho guardato dentro quella macchina e non eri tu al volante mi sono ricordato adesso che quando anni fa ci eravamo sentiti quella macchina non l'avevi più

It's old but one of the best models of cars e Vans of the Renault. It's a shame that Renault Gave up this type of platforms and this type of engine

Is it ok to go over 4k to get the best acceleration time ? Just asking because mine has the same engine and i feel the power between 2-3.5 k RPM .
