Keith Sage Thanks Keith it’s a beautiful little bike and I did ask Stewart to fire it up but he declined, and unfortunately I can’t make owners start their bikes if they don’t want to. But thanks again for your comments.
I was thinking how long ago 1974 was then a realize that I purchased a brand new Yamaha GT 80 in 1972 ,, when I was 12 years old.. Then I bought a new 1974 YZ-80-A that I later tripled the power with a GYT Kit .. and that's the begeniing of Motocross bikes for me..
This particular B50 engine is fitted with an automatic decompressor (the little blue button that’s fitted to the left side of the cylinder) basically you push the button in for decompression and when the engine starts it automatically releases.
A beauty
I don't where you find these bikes Chris , but this bike is great for my eyes.. Sweet!! It's to bad we will never get to hear her sing.

Looks like a ccm big bore cylinder. Theres one on my dad's b50mx, and its a torquey lovely engine.
The 500MX came with a compression release lever on the left side of the handlebars. For some reason the compression release is not on the this bike.
It's installed on the side of the head. At 5:05 in the video. It's blue.
