Fun fact: The reason Boeing 737 MAX 9s always crashed was because of Boeing never telling pilots of 737 MAX 9s about the MCAS. The MCAS was a automated system to do the opposite of what was SUPPOSED to be used. It automatically tilted the plane down if it got too high instead of up if it got too low. Most of the time the MCAS malfunctioned and since Boeing never told the pilots about it they didn’t know what to do and the plane would just remain in a steep dive eventually crashing and all these crashes unfortunately killed all on board.
Most of the crashes were due to human error and bad repairs. The crashes don’t make the plane unsafe. It has been around for a very long time so it has had more crashes than newer planes.
