What great memories, my wife and I lived in Saint-Denís right next to SHAPE. Belgium is still one of the fave places that we ever lived.

Wow just saw this; I lived several places between 1981-1984 on was on the Ath Mons in Jurbise. from the video I can see that the farmhouse where we live along with another US couple is gone, looks like it is a commercial building. and past gate 3 the old club Mckenize is gone also.

Thanks for the memory lane trip back to Belgium. I was stationed at SHAPE from 1994 to 1997. Initially, I lived in the Belgian housing units on Rue Saturne just behind the GB and later moved to Mortes Haies Housing. I worked at Daumery kasserne, Chievres. The assignment was one of the best. Summer times were great, but winter times suck. Too damp and cold most of the time.
