Good afternoon everyone I just turned into your you tube channel about you rebuilding your camper I think you are right about saving money on sleeping in your camper than in a hotel I love watching your videos of you building your new camper and saving it please keep up the good work up on your videos on your you tube channel please keep safe and warm
Hi Rob. Great content mate. This trailer looks great and I love how low it is. Would be a great one for my recovery missions over here. Looks great on the Ford. All the best mate
Thanks Steve. I loved seeing that Michigan loader working in your last video, really like seeing your property and all your toys. Appreciate it, brother
Now that’s a nice truck and trailer. Always wanted to make a single axle tractor to haul our tb175 excavator around instead of a tag trailer on the dump trucj
Thank you very much. This thing would be perfect for an excavator that size, It’s built just like a tag, same axles and specs, just longer, and with a kingpin
Looks great Rob! I have the same to do to my hydraulic tail trailer, and change from spring to air ride. Just too many projects currently. I also do snow removal, but only have enough clients to handle myself and be profitable. ~Rob~
Doing it yourself gives you a much better margin so it makes a lot of sense. I think I need to start putting time into inventing a cloning machine so I can have more of me to work on all the projects I get myself into 😂 that, and a money tree
I love that trailer! Honestly im looking at nearly the exact same trailer. I believe yours is about 10' longer. Love the upgrades you have done! Really makes me want to copy you.
That’s cool! I agree, Strange that Kaufman shows only the 40’ trailer in a tandem, this one must’ve been a special order or they just offered it longer back then.
@@robstruckshop80 My local cement company has a tri-axle Kaufman with ramps that are like 8' long. He hauls paving equipment. Seems to be real happy with it.
I’ve seen those- they seem really popular with the asphalt guys. I’d definitely want hydraulic ramps though, mine are 5 or 6 feet and are heavy as f#ck!
Thank you for that info working in the rain today chasing nickels also agree with you unemployment is not a benefit we as employers pay also more than the people paying gig workers under the table is that long barn your shop for Al your supply sweet maybe I will connect up at the bridge for the truck show thanks
Chasing nickels is right, that’s the life of a landscaper! Yes, the bigger barn is our shop at work, it’s unheated but gives us a lot of inside storage for materials and equipment along with the office space up front.
Thank you. My last Hutch suspension trailer had adjustables on both sides, but only needing one side makes sense. And yes, there’s a chain on the spare 👍🏻
If you don’t mind can you tell us why you stoped snow removal and how do your workers get by on eight months of work that would be hard on me for sure thanks
In the long run (5-10 years) I don’t think it makes money. The stress of the schedule actually caused me to lose good staff- the work was hit and miss, and they generally find it’s better off to claim their unemployment benefits (note- that’s NOT a government handout, businesses like us completely fund those benefits) The unemployment system is structured so that it ends up discouraging part time and gig work like snow removal, so they lose out on their benefits if they try to help themselves by working. Trucks rust out and give me a
It’s fixed so I’d have to re-mount it to the frame rails. It rides good and the scales say it sends weight to the front axle with a load so I don’t plan on moving it.
man, do i love that trailer! who doesnt love new shiny aluminum wheels?!
Thank you. I’m really happy I found this one.

I’m glad the trailer is working out Rob! I’ve been running the diamond c ragged 😂. Love it!
Hey Blake! I’m glad you’re working it, I miss that thing! I’m loving the step deck

trailing arms are correct one side non adjustable the other side adjust for axle alignment, add a chain or strap to secure the spare tire

Are you gonna side your 5th wheel forward any?
