Pro tip: if playing as undead, rush into the death fog room at the start and grab a barrel of death fog as fast as you can before the kraken breaks it.
It breaks it as soon as you try to unlock the door they fixed the glitch.

Pick up nails that are lying around and combine them with ur boots. Instant immunity to slipping
that was so useful in os1 but ice seems to be kinda less useful on os2 from my experience, alltho i havent used ice alot but yeah still a useful tip but its not a thing that wasnt explained as crafting recipies are supposed to be found out about.

once you get into the fort in fort joy there will be tons laying on workbenches and little containers above them.

dont forget you can use them for crafting nailbomb granades or lockpicks to sell
chicken claw+rupture tendons. Enemies can only move around while chickened (and will move their max movement each turn while transformed). Rupture tendons will make them bleed with each step.
Btw you got it wrong. Water+Fire causes steam, which removes burning but doesnt block vision. Smoke (which blocks vision) is only created when fire surfaces are extinguished.

Fane's mask not only changes his looks to the race he chooses, but also gives Fane those special racial skills too.

Also Fane doesn't have to wear it any character can and they can use the mask's powers.
but remember he doesnt react to other npc´s and the other way around if he is disguised
if you use fanes transformation mask on the well in the tower of braccus rex you can get extra loot from it! and the entire party can wear the mask so you can get 4x4 purple items from the well
u also pick up the mask of many faces somewhere so u can do it even if you didn't take fane with u
Yes, leave no items behind! That moment when u reached the end of the game and your bags are full of everything and u didn't use even 10 percent of things u stole, crafted and found during those long hours XD
Just like Skyrim, gotta save this potion for later!

I love this game, I like that it is more about having fun and feeling adventure rather than oprimizing builds and power leveling...
Still, there's a lot of powerbuilds going around on the internet. Several UA-cam channels dedicated to make, test and show off powerful builds for this game, in fact.
Part of what makes this game so awesome is that you can have just as much fun exploring and talking to NPCs or you can be completely invested into the combat system
Teleport is the most useful skill on this game, sometimes its fun to sneak and teleport one enemy at a time and gang him. :D

elwendyr of ys I was using the controller to play so the waypoints is in the start menu and I saw it there but didn’t figure there would be an options menu in the start menu that would also interact with gameplay... not enough buttons on the controllers for a game like this

the first one is amazing .. but this one is a whole new world a lot better .. i suggest playing both but if u dont want to u can just straight start up to dos2 .. as far as the story's goes ur not missing much except some references and some important characters.. from dos
may just look up the story on a wiki or sumin. cheers
yeah! BIG rock :P even me bought it and played a bit only (now finishing Dying Light and DeadPool :P ), but after DL will get to play it more...
its a fantastic game but the first one has some annoyances mainly with mass crowd control and really shitty accuracy system where you miss alot unless you invest points in, accuracy is mainly only a problem in the early game tho. Divinity 2 is fantastic gameplay and story wise and i prefered its story over divinity os1 but you will miss alot of refrences if you dont read up on divinity os1 or read its story/lore. if you have 1-3 friends to play with i would recommend the game if you like turn based strategic combat.
If two of your characters have teleport you can transport your party though locked gates and many otherwise inaccessible areas.
There are some early level gloves to be found with the teleport skill. All you need to do is teleport one person,give the gloves to that one and he will teleport you.
or you get tactical retreat / phoenix dive / cloak and dagger
1 thing divinity didnt say to IGN : you can left click items instead of right click -> pick up. Incredible !
And you can pick up all items in a chest with a single click on the button at the top. Triggered me kinda hard when they right clicked every single item :D
@@Zazume_ and u can hit space bar and take everything with kb&m. Really useful when ur tryna hit lucky charm procs in a cluster of containers or bone piles.
You can max buff the party member engaged in dialog right before the battle and the buffs remain while you cooldowns reset
chicken claw + rupture tendrils = fun!
also fill up barrels with stuff to make them heavy and telekinesis on enemies :)
or even
a barrel of deathfog will oneshot any living boss

How do I clear the cursed ring I got from tomboy? I used bless on it but still get cursed when I equip it.
Steam removes burning but does not prevent ranged attacks, smoke clouds do.
It is explained by smoke cloud saying "blocks visibility" or something along those lines.
Pretty much, you can electrify steam as well, for a pretty strong aoe cc field
Dose anymore know if hostile NPCs respawn? Just curious seeing how I found the first one fun but didn't like that NPCs killed never leave or respawn.
No. When they die. They die. Nothing in this world is permanent except your party

Yup you'll eventually gain access to a 'storage facility' once you reach a certain point in the main story

In character creater how do you change their name, im playing on the ps4. Ive tried several times, i change the name pressed R2 like it tells me and it just goes back to the original name. Lol am i a moron our am i missing a step some where. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

So far my favorite build which is working out with battle cleric with healing as a tank, thats lohse. red prince is knight, the lone wolf guy is rogue. My guy is elf bow user, totem maxing warfare and summoning. 2 into necromancer for well if you have questions just ask.
Pickpocket can give you a the money you need in Fort joy alone and you can get all the skill books for free.

Okay, 1 out of 11 things in this video.... The blessed part, I didn't know you can do that.
have you played through the game? then ofc you have seen most of these (how did you miss the bless part?! if you ever bless in fight, there's a big chance there's something on the floor)
yeah, after a playthrough you'll have realised most of these by stumbling upon them. but all the surface combos are just trial and error, either you find them, or you don't. waypoints are apparently not as intuitive with a controller.
thievery and racial skills are only really explained if you use them
bedrolls and barrel-traps are exploiting the game, often feel like cheating.
chicken claw is secretly OP because charm is even stronger, but bosses aren't affected by it even if they aren't "immune to charmed", whereas chicken claw (apparently, i haven't tried it on modern patches) affected all non-immune enemies
Huh.. the weird thing is. Divinity actually tells you all these...
the bedroll doesnt allways fully heal you, i dont think. it heals alot but ive had a couple times where my insanely high hp tank used bedroll and he wasnt healed fully, and no he was not debuffed in any way but im not sure if it simply was a bug. Also chicken form is definitely atleast slightly explained in the description, and before anyone says about the immunities with enough loremaster you can see every stat a monster has by examining them. But the examining of monster is infact a thing that was never explained to my knowledge but is rather straight forward to figure out, but still would fit the list. Alltho examining may be harder to figure out if you are playing with a controller.
Steam doesn't obscure vision only smoke does.

Another one thing DOS 2 doesn't tell you, specially for the maker of this video : you can left click item from loot stash / barrel to pickup items instead of right click and click pickup one by one :p

This game is an origin story for the chickens in Zelda: under the feathers there's a monster boss pissed off to have been turned into a ridicule bird
