- The Zotac Zone features a 7-inch AMOLED display, a Ryzen 7 8840U APU, ergonomic and thoughtful controls, and a built-in kickstand. Will this be one of the best gaming handhelds of 2024?
With similar size and styling to the Asus ROG Ally (and probably performance too), the Zotac Zone is heating up the gaming handheld market. Taking cues from the Steam Deck-Oled, the Zone uses a stunning 7-inch AMOLED display with 800 nits of brightness however uses the more powerful Ryzen 7 8840U APU and runs full Windows 11. It boasts parallel joysticks, unique navigation dials, and a dedicated keyboard button for seamless Windows navigation. With a built-in webcam, dual USB-C ports, and a variable trigger switch, this device is designed for versatile gaming and desktop experiences. Does it have what it takes to be the best gaming handheld in 2024?

With its AMOLED display and improved controls, is the Zotac Zone a serious contender?
The battery life is too bad and the screen should be at least 8 inches.
Nope. 7" screen is a fail
It looks like Zotac did their research on the features gamers want in a handheld, I think it’s going to be a contender!
This may be the one to replace my Go
No it needs a bigger battery, at least 4 hours of battery life and a way bigger 8.8 inch screen. The size of the zotec is the bigger than the legion go, why they didn't add an 8.8 inch screen is weird to me.
It's smaller than the Legion Go
4hrs ??? Playing indies, right ? It only has less than 50wh battery
So basically we want a handheld with hall effect joysticks, triggers 24 gigs of ram, amoled display, 2280 ssd and good battery we need to drop $1k?
Is the screen landscape or portrait? I'm guessing portrait.
With less than 50wh battery, i dont think it can compete with the ally X for the same price.
This is the one to beat now.
What's the racing game at the beginning of the video?
Talking about everything but the processors. Isn’t that the main point of interest?
could download cod warzone mobile? and go live stream?
Get in the ZONE with AMOLED ami rite
You couldn’t possibly be more correct sir. 🙆♂️
what OS is it running? i failed to notice
old tech screen to small , batterie to low , mehh not for me and the display bazzels looks like 2018 ipad 😂😂
😂😂😂 7" means it already lost. A lot of people is going with the legion go over the deck oled jist because of the 8.8 screen and Zotac comes out with a 7". Clueless 😂😂😂
Can you explain why more people are going with the rog ally z1e and x with the 7inch screen over the legion go?
Does streaming through the webcam chew up the performance??? 🫣
no
Obviously not. Are you ok
120hz amoled?! Finally something i might consider switching to from my steam deck oled.
This dude looks like Sam Hyde
Oled is nice but i need a bigger screen to switch from legion go
Then just get a small laptop in that case 😅😅
