SAGE EAS ENDEC Demonstration (with Fails)

Here's a demonstration (with fails) of my SAGE EAS ENDEC. Please note that this ENDEC is not connected to any transmitters and is not monitoring any frequencies, so any alerts created and "sent" are not sent anywhere. Enjoy!

I would check the solder joints on the speaker itself and also check the continuity between the speaker and its header on the circuit board. Your speaker might be internally messed up too, but that's where I'd start.

To fix the speaker problem, I think it is a loose connection. I would suggest looking inside to see if one of the wires are loose. If that doesn't work, then you may need to get a new speaker.

that's not it, if you look on the back of a sage, you can see a speaker in and speaker out area on the terminal blocks, just put a paperclip between the two, which is a speaker jumper, that would be loose, not the actual speaker cables in the endec.

You'd probably use a DMO when showing people or training because most if not all FCC stations do not relay dmo alerts

Buy a new speaker if the one you have is bad, most likely its a loose connection and can be repaired with a soldering iron within like 55 seconds to 1 min if you have experience lmao
