I’m so excited that you spoke your own mind & didn’t “parrot” what everyone else is saying, i.e., “fussycut”, “dark moody” and so on! Your sock stretchers look great! Keep being your authentic self! You’ve gotten my support and my subscription to your channel.
Wow what a nice comment. I am old enough that I don't have to try to be anything but me. My biggest competitor is me. I want to learn something new everyday and share it with whosoever! Thank you so much for your support! I truly appreciate it!
Love the sock stretchers and wish we had a source here in Pennsylvania. Now the surprise of the day! I buy Elmer’s glue by the gallon for teaching art to children and have never thought to use it for crackling. Just lovely. Thanks!❤
Peggy, I'm loving this Christmas challenge! Another great project completed...these sock stretchers look great! Just curious, will you continue to use the glue as your method of crackling, or will you go back to the products you have been using?

I agree. Tired of crafting cliches. ❣️

Oh wow! That is wonderful. My husband cut these from Plywood after I drew a pattern for him.
They are so fun!!!❤
Sure are and easy just spend the most time waiting for things to dry.
Beautiful and rustic looking stockings!! ❤💚❤
Thank you, I love them! I am trying to get my husband to build me a mantle so I have somewhere to hang them!
Love this!! So simple and elegant…..
Thank you! 😊

Great idea! I do have a few sock stretchers in my attic! Great share Peggy!
Why thank you gorgeous lady!
These are gorgeous 😊
Thank you! 😊 I learned quite a bit with this project!
Adorable 🥰
Thank you
They're beautiful. I need to try the glue again. I think I allowed mine to dry and I didn't get cracks thanks for the inspiration.❤
I wasn’t sure how long to let it set before I painted over it but for sure don’t let it dry completely. Hope it works for you ❤
I really like the dock stretchers. I have used Mod Podge instead of glue and i git crackles but they weren’t that big snd deep.
Thank you. I wasn't sure what would happen but I was super happy with the results.

Great question I am using what I have on hand when I finish with that I have not sure but I did really like the ease of the Elmers!
Do you sell the sock stretchers or a paper or pdf pattern of them? Thanks!
We are working on a paper pattern. Thank you!
@@GardenhouseStudioVT Could I order the pattern?
