They are hares, they don't burrow but build a nest at ground level by creating a shallow scrape on the surface
rabbits will freeze when trying to avoid detection ...they can run at speeds up to 35 MPH and make leaps over small bushes ....once I saw one jump into a hole on the side of a dirt embankment you would have trouble fitting a grapefruit into but that jack rabbit scrambled and clawed into that hole ...by the time I got there he was completely out of sight ... the hole was not dug by a rabbit .. probably a gopher hole
the rabbit still like this due to the new updates
Other than this video I never hunt them, I prefer the big game
This video is nice and all but no where did you mention or show where on a 10 square kilometer map you are :/
They tell you where they are in the encyclopedia, they're in the grasslands on the east side of the map
I haven't seen rabbits, hares or badgers in weeks in any map.
Anyone else having the same trouble? any fixes??
I've been on Matariki and I see rabbits a lot there, haven't been on Nez in awhile

@@ShredhedGamingDude thanks for letting me know there was a new map, I updated the game and found rabbits there !!!! also the game runs better with this patch and the new map is quite fun

Transylvania, right side of the map in the grassland areas

I think my game is bugged, I hve over 150 hours playing and I think I've only spotted a couple of hares before the Afrika update and none since then, also when I first played the game the were badges everywhere now I haven't seen or heard one in weeks.
This .22 isnt real. To loud for a .22
Yap 22 calibre is to loud not like in Call of the wilds ore the hunter classic!
