Well the Panthers have been endlessly prattling on about how they either win or they learn. They are indeed getting schooled. Makes you wonder if telling yourself you never lose is an effective strategy in this line of work. 🤔
People and the media are so rude just to get views and a kick out of panther fans and the organization itself, the panthers have had a tremendous run as a whole and from the start dominating the stat sheet and the league when we went up 3-0 we never even had the spot light it was all focused on mcdavid and the oilers can they come back? Oilers fan here but my anyone who is mad at watching this series doesn’t appreciate sports. Win or lose it CANNOT get any bigger or exciting than this - we are talking about a guaranteed Game 7 SCF between two teams that hate each other after one team has somehow stormed back from 0-3 to try to make history not done since World War 2…..this is the beauty of sports! Of course I want my Oilers to win but if they don’t we the consumers still win by witnessing such an amazing and exciting series. Florida is still a great team and shouldn’t be slept on. As the two analysts said here they play well with their backs against the wall and this is no guaranteed win for Edmonton. Win or lose, kudos to both teams for playing their hearts out. No matter what happens on Monday WE will all be the winners of this. Having said that…..Go Oilers Go!
This is very simple. The Oilers have just figured out the Panthers forecheck and are taking advantage. They've used the overextension of the Panthers forecheck against them. The Panthers will have to decide whether to continue with their offensive style that requires pressure and forcing turnovers or sitting back in the neutral zone to prevent Edmonton rushes. The Oilers can always increase their effort, but the Panthers can't find more skill.
The 2024 Edmonton Oilers will become the 2nd NHL team in the Stanley Cup Finals history after an 0-3 deficit to win unless the Florida Panthers recover.

I know Most panther fans don't understand that Oilers shouldn't have lost 3 games in the row especially against Florida. Thank goodnes we're not playing Boston. That was the only team on the eastern side I was afraid to see us play.
American or Canadian has nothing to do with it! I’m American and know Edmonton has won 3 but has played well enough to win all but 1 game this series. Edmonton has been the better team and they are flourishing while Florida is regressing.
Bob wasn't flukey, give him credit for covering the lower part of the net from post to post with his flexibility. Then, give the Oilers credit for adjusting and lifting the puck over his pads.

Glad you defended Bob. I don't think he has played badly, but he has had very little help. If Florida was playing any other team besides the Oil, I'd be cheering for Bob to win his Cup, even if it means having to see Tkachuk hoist it as well.

Number 1 - The defencman didn't fall down and Foegele got a break. The defencman pulled Foegele down with him and Foegele had the fortitude to get back up and score. Number 2 - Saying McDavid didn't have an Impact on the game, have you lost your mind he was all around the 200 ft game. He impacted much of the defensive results. You should be ashamed of the fact you can say what you said and have a pass to report on this sport.
Good luck to the Oilers! I hope they complete the reverse sweep, and McDavid, and the rest of the team, raise the SC Monday night!! (They aren’t my team, but how can you not cheer for them?)
More like a traditional tv series, except if you are the Panthers, then this is Game of Thrones and the writer has deserted you. You know what's coming and it is not as good as it was earlier. And gets released on a weird schedule. And the actors can't believe what's happening in the final game or two.
Because it is a script. The NHL directs the refs to sway each game the desired decision. The question is this: is more money made on bets from a 7 game series or just on this last game. If gambling sites & Vegas lose more money from bets on Florida if Edmonton keeps winning or if enough people now bet that the Oilers will win over the Panthers then Florida will be favored by the refs so they make their money. The game is real and players are playing. It is just steered towards the desired outcome with a few calls & no calls. It's just entertainment! Enjoy!
For you Americans, Tkachuk was also involved in a mild reverse sweep in 2022. Flames beat oil in Game 1 and then Oilers went 4 straight to beat flames 4-1. Our biggest accomplishment until maybe Monday? Beating Dallas was pretty sweet too.
Why not talk about everything the Oilers are doing. The last 3 games were not even CLOSE. The first 3 games only the 2nd was dominated by the Panthers.
Bobrovsky has to stand on his head for the Panthers to have a chance against the surging Oilers. I loathe Edmonton, but Canada needs the Cup. 31 years is long enough---Kings fan since 73
The Oilers PK is 45 for 46, and Panthers PP is like 1 for 15, making that call was easy for Knobs. And y'all forget to mention, it was the correct call, offside was clear on replays.
it is both ... Oil speed & punch with Skinner simply could not be suppressed any longer ... much more pressure on Panthers now --- pre - finals favorite, massive momentum change & playing #7 at home with the high expectations ... Oil that " GROOVE" !!!
Oilers outplayed and outchanced Panthers in 2 of the first 3 games. Problem was they couldn't beat Bob because they kept shooting low, and trying to bang it in with traffic in front. Thing is you can't beat him down low. Game 4 almost all of those 8 goals were up high blocker or gloveside. And they realized that's how you beat him. Oilers had double the Grade A scoring chances that florida had going by game 4. Oilers finished 10th in the league in fewest goals against. And they allowed like 50 goals in their 1st 10 games. Next 70 games they were the best defensive team in the league. Florida #2. They also finished 4th in Goals for but #1 after the last 70. And that's before the coaching change. ESPN, if you want to help hockey in the US. Get commentators that actually know hockey and follow it.
Just gotta get it over Bob's pads (like Holloway, Perry, Hyman getting it over the pad but under the arm). Brown's shorty was rare in that he went around Bob's pads along the ice.
More of somewhere in the middle. Other than game 2, going by eye test Edmonton was outplaying Florida in game 1 and 3 but luck wasn't on their side. Florida fluked into a 3-0 lead, otherwise this series should have been Edmontons in 5. Beginning in the 3rd period of game 3, Florida's luck ran out and Edmonton was finally executing with goals
So if the goal by florida would have counted to make it 2-1, the game would have been different?? Why?? Yes, there might have been a little different, but the Oilers were leading at home and playing very well. Grasping at straws guys....just let the players decide it and if goals are offside or goalies stand on their heads....so be it.
Panthers are in fine form when they're diving, crawling off the ice, and coming back 2 shifts later when they didn't get the call they wanted. No class panthers, they dont deserve the cup. Oilers are far superior, especially after the whistle.
You know what it is? Just better shot placement Lift the puck over the pads, and Babrovsky wont likely make the save given the pass is clean, clear, and quick
Our American friends love to make a show of everything like a team that won 3 games with an advantage merged 3 games it doesn't happen like that it's Hollywood ahahha

I can bet the Oilers will lose because NHL doesn’t want the cup to come back to CANADA. They make sure Oilers win to force Game 7 so people will talk about it and watch the game 7. More revenue. This is just Edmonton being the better team and Florida's luck running out. Oilers win monday night and it's the greatest comeback in sports history. LET'S GO OILERS!
one thing either way .. which ever team brings it will TAKE the dream .. one way or another .. you are not a hockey fan if you miss the next match !!! IT WILL BE ON !!!!
IT’S ON!!
The offside goal isn't going to be talked about for a while lmao. Oilers would have likely still have won. They still put 3 in. 5 by the end. Acting like the disallowed goal changed the series is silly.
Oilers should have won game 1 if not for the posts. Oilers should have won 4-2 series last game and hoisted the Cup in Edmonton instead of hoisting it in Florida.
Well the Panthers have been endlessly prattling on about how they either win or they learn. They are indeed getting schooled.
Makes you wonder if telling yourself you never lose is an effective strategy in this line of work. 🤔
Florida in choke mode.
Video review should be removed from all pro sports. Period.
Go Oilers.
Can they force a game 7? We’ve had our battles there’s many times where the Panthers could have stepped up and won but they didn’t that’s the reality of it. But the truth of the matter is that these games are paid, the Stanley cup is paid the media and the nhl now the fans the oilers are a dirty team regardless of anything now the panthers are in shambles? Oh please I need the fans to actually be fans and support your team win or lose the panthers had an incredible season back to back Stanley cups, not many people realize how hard it is to get to the cup and win 3 games. Oilers won three woopie!! The panthers won three also. The series isn’t finished idk why everyone is locked on oilers yall are just fans but don’t discredit the Florida panthers that’s rude and just wrong for the media and even oilers fans, grow up. Nothing is real anymore it’s all entertainment business. I’m glad the oilers got 3 cause they were down bad too just like the panthers but no body is talking about it anymore, ridiculous society
it was offside, why ppl are so piss, it was offside
NO, it wasn't. Was it 'close' - oh yeah, most likely the closest that could ever be. BUT - they have a STILL PHOTO of the puck still on the line, and Sam Reinharts back skate had cleared the blue line - so therefore the call is OFF SIDE. Just deal with it. Panthers are finished.
@@KptKrunch9481 It was offside. You can see it on the freeze frame. The entire puck has to clear the line. It's not a conspiracy.
@@ocramocram1 oh crap, I had 3 hours sleep, I mis-read his quote as "it wasn't off-side" and looks like you mis-read what I said lol

The Oilers have done this all playoffs - take a couple games to figure things out, then go all Ken Shamrock on their opponents asses. This isn’t a panthers’ collapse; it’s an Oilers clinic.
Yes, watched them turn around the Vancouver series (Van fan here) -- it was shocking how casually and completely they did it. Very similar to this series, except it's not quite over yet, lol.
@@gameburn178 turned the dallas series around, turned the vancouver series around, turned the LA series around, though it wasn't really in danger there, we just have LA's number for 3 years straight lmao.
They also turned the season around as well.
"a good goal off the board" ??? what a coper. it WAS OFFSIDE. PERIOD. rules are rules.... not just when it suits The Panthers apparently.
End of the day we all play with the same rule book.
Though it is fair to say you think a rule sucks
So now we’re down to evaluating pixels to see if it’s offside? It never affected the play
But whatever
Nice flop by Draisaddle

This is very simple. The Oilers have just figured out the Panthers forecheck and are taking advantage. They've used the overextension of the Panthers forecheck against them. The Panthers will have to decide whether to continue with their offensive style that requires pressure and forcing turnovers or sitting back in the neutral zone to prevent Edmonton rushes. The Oilers can always increase their effort, but the Panthers can't find more skill.
I just hope the Oiler coaches have thought of all the possible strategy shifts and alerted their players about how they'll have to handle them.
Florida in 6 huh?
No, no. Florida in 4ida.
Oilers in 7🏆
Those guys seem to have disappeared!😅😅
The 2024 Edmonton Oilers will become the 2nd NHL team in the Stanley Cup Finals history after an 0-3 deficit to win unless the Florida Panthers recover.
Florida is NOT the better team Refer to past 3 games. It's literally embarrassing .Choke is the understatement
Don’t worry Maurice, the refs didn’t catch it either. It took a challenge to catch the offsides. Go Oilers!
The 2024 Edmonton Oilers will become the 2nd NHL team in the Stanley Cup Finals history after an 0-3 deficit to win unless the Florida Panthers recover.
At the beginning of the season when the Oilers were 3-9-0 Connor McDavid uttered those immortal words "cup or bust" They have believed since then.
It was a clear offside
Edmonton has dominated this series and the only reason Florida is in it is because of flukey Bob. Wake up, Americans(fans)
@@joetoh6675 yeah Bob isn't Flukey. hes one of the reasons Panthers are where theyre at. However, Oilers are better 5v5 and on the special teams.
@@SinisterBlackheartyea the same team panthers beat ! It’s about matchup and momentum. The better team wins. Whoever wins tmr is the better team and champ ! The end

Panthers slept on the Oilers. BIG MISTAKE OILERS WILL PREVAIL
Glad you defended Bob. I don't think he has played badly, but he has had very little help. If Florida was playing any other team besides the Oil, I'd be cheering for Bob to win his Cup, even if it means having to see Tkachuk hoist it as well.
We are witnessing NHL history being made, its a once in a life time event, we will never see this happening again in our life, so watch the next game and enjoy the event. Go Oilers go.
42-24. Poetic. Historic. Iconic. Epic. Go Oilers!
Typical Americans hockey analyst they can’t handle losing and just complaint all the time and look for excuses. Pathtetic.
Wychenski is beyond pathetic.
Good luck to the Oilers! I hope they complete the reverse sweep, and McDavid, and the rest of the team, raise the SC Monday night!! (They aren’t my team, but how can you not cheer for them?)
It’s neither a collapse, nor a miracle. It’s a hard earned Cup win by the best team in the league. Let’s go Cats! 🏆
This is playing out like a movie script.
Truth
Enjoy!
Panthers are lucky.
Oilers should have put them away already.
These guys are brutal on the Panthers... take it easy on your team. They're playing a special group of talented players.
Wychenski is a smug clown
Bravo Hyman)) Goal #16!! 🤪🤪Let's go Oilers!!😇
Hymen, that was pure poetry!
No one in America cares about the panthers or the cup

Why not talk about everything the Oilers are doing. The last 3 games were not even CLOSE. The first 3 games only the 2nd was dominated by the Panthers.
Bobrovsky has to stand on his head for the Panthers to have a chance against the surging Oilers. I loathe Edmonton, but Canada needs the Cup. 31 years is long enough---Kings fan since 73
Bobvrosky is NOT going to have anything for Oilers. He is a spent man unfortunately
The Oilers PK is 45 for 46, and Panthers PP is like 1 for 15, making that call was easy for Knobs. And y'all forget to mention, it was the correct call, offside was clear on replays.
Rope a dope , Oilers took there best punches , then said enough,,, OUR TURN
florida was outplayed on two of their wins. crappy team that got lucky. oilers have kicked their ass 5 out of 6 games so far
What if's jesus louise , they were outplayed by the oilers another couple of ignorant mic heads
it is both ... Oil speed & punch with Skinner simply could not be suppressed any longer ... much more pressure on Panthers now --- pre - finals favorite, massive momentum change & playing #7 at home with the high expectations ... Oil that " GROOVE" !!!
If you reverse 42 the year last time it happened is 24. History never repeats itself, it rather rhymes.
Very interesting. 🤔
maybe consult an astrologer ...
Wow, that’s deep. 🙄
That's all the evidence i need
So that's why the Panthers are intentionally losing so they can drag the game to 2025 to break the rhyme. TOP IQ play.
Fr oilers fans gonna be mad when they almost do it panthers in 7
Oilers outplayed and outchanced Panthers in 2 of the first 3 games.
Right man! Every body saying panthers dominated first three are not paying attention!
Just better shot placement
Lift the puck over the pads, and Babrovsky wont likely make the save given the pass is clean, clear, and quick
Our American friends love to make a show of everything like a team that won 3 games with an advantage merged 3 games it doesn't happen like that it's Hollywood ahahha
Florida took their foot off the gas in game 4. "Lost momentum". Gave Edmonton a spark of confidence. Oilers pounced on the opportunity.
Greg dont know his balls

Really want to find out what is going on. Need someone with more hockey knowledge than me to explain this to me. If it was football i could see it, but the only thing i noticed is that the Oilers were having almost double shots on goal and Bobby was shutting them down. Florida only definitively won Game 2. Game 1 and 3 should have gone to Oilers.

I can bet the Oilers will lose because NHL doesn’t want the cup to come back to CANADA. They make sure Oilers win to force Game 7 so people will talk about it and watch the game 7. More revenue. For Game 7, NHL WILL MAKE SURE FLORIDA wins. Also Skinner is not controlling the shots. He is still very shaky. If he gets the shutout on Game 7 then you can say he is a good goalie. It’s not going to be a choke. It’s a sad reality. I do hope I am wrong.
Unpopular opinion but i feel like there’s something fishy going on in these finals..like either from a sports betting aspect or hockey market aspect. Kinda just a ramble I don’t wanna elaborate too much but just the last 2 or 3 games have felt so un natural to me, like the professional team (FLA) just forgot how to play hockey all of a sudden?? I been watching watching hockey my whole life, i know what the playoff yips are and all that but idk maybe I’m trippin..
