I liked Love Guru, Myers is always funny... It was just the end of kinetic comedy. Jim Carey, Eddy Murphy even John Cleese time was done by the mid 00s. Also Eddy's career had a revival with more serious movies and even Oscar nomsfor the first time

What's important for all of the actors listed is that they are workers. I'm a normal person who's training is as an electronics technician, but at one time I used to do industrial laundry. I LITERALLY shoved cloth diapers into industrial washing machines and sometimes being covered in baby shit until I took a fully clothed shower to clean it off. I also worked in industrial reclamation, digging through the detritus of companies to "recycle" (we didn't recycle shit) materials that were returned to best buy or to US Steel. Then I got back to what I do, Electronics and Logics, and that is what these actors did. They waded through the shit, and the grime until they achieved what they really are.

Travolta has killed his career more than once. But until Cruise became their darling, the powers that be in Scientology kept getting him plumb rolls.

Cruise, AND Travolta are just plane professionals, It's hard to beat cruise, but Travolta is willing to be experimental while still being one of the top grossers of all time.

I'm surprised you didn't include Sylvester Stallone, he fell down 3 or 4 times, but he loved film, and succeeded several times.

Waterworld is a great movie for those of us who grew up into the sea since we were 1 year old. However, the Waterworld that is great, is The Ulysses Cut, which restores all of the stupidly cut content, filling in the gaps that made the movie look hollow and showing why this movie has personality. If you want to enjoy Waterworld, look for The Ulysses Cut.

well gee, maybe if hollywood wouldn't drain the life out of a fantastic film with endless bad-sequels that were successively worse one after the other....

If anyone had read "Battlefield Earth" you only wanted to watch it for hate.

My opinion of Mike Myers is that he's likeable, but not really funny.

Basically they're trying to redeem themselves by insistently riding on dead horses. What happened to The Art 🖌️🎨🎭of movie making? The more they insist on profit chasing gimmicks they continue to crate crap piles. Also writers who follow this philosophy aiming to rip off book buyers end up composing bad books that eventually flop in the market. The love of money is the root of evil.🥸
