Very cool light! I’ve collected up a handful of the old SF millennium series lights, being into the clone rifles. I don’t convert mine to LED, I like to keep them original. It’s crazy how bright we thought these lights were back in the day!
I’ve sold a few but still have about three of my old Millennium lights. I used to know the number system they used to name them, I realize I must have forgot since I used the wrong name in the video. I’ve still got a really old, probably first run M900, an old fat body M951 on my MK18 and I think M962 on my A4
I remember you rocking the MC2 combat light in your front pocket. I was so impressed with that I got that light plus the M3. I still have an M3 with the incandescent bulb. Every few years I get on that hoping to find a drop in LED module, but just haven’t found the right unit. The executive series and then the LEDs were revolutionary changes. And now that rechargeable batteries are reliable and last a long time, the dual fuel lights are awesome.
@@LShapedAmbushthe e-series bulbs which went in these early scoutlights were a big step forward in the right direction. They didn’t increase the power any, but they gave the same power in a noticeably smaller and lighter package. Now with new bulbs and the 18650 series battery they’re still using the same style/size body but are achieving way more light and way more throw than we had with lights 4 or 5 times the size.

love the old lights.
I probably love the new lights better for performance but it’s cool to see the old ones to see where things came from
