It’s ironic how 96% of the locomotives are from western railroads despite the song being “Appalachian Snowfall” but idc it rocks and I’m a Utahn so I have no right to talk 😭
Anyway before I made this music video, hearing this song for the first time (a few months ago actually) I always thought it was going to take place somewhere in Russia. And all this time I was gonna get it all wrong! 🤣 Now that you mentioned Utah, I should’ve used some Utah Belt trains in this video, and a few more D&RGW ones as well. As a Californian, I have never been to Utah before but I would love to take a road trip out there one day. Especially on certain roads which meet along with the former D&RGW right of way.
Because why not? lol Btw if you look in the windows of the Aerotrain, there is nobody inside the train. While on the Polar Express, we see passengers! Even in simulators, people are smarter!
“Yeah I know it’s a magical train. Actually it’s a Baldwin 2-8-4 S-3 Class Berkshire steam locomotive. Built in 1931 by the Baldwin Locomotive Works and weighs 461,100 lbs, and has a traction force of 3,450 lbs, and a top speed of… Hey look everybody! HERPOLSHEIMERS!!! HERPOLSHEIMERS!!!” *Sorry, force of habit.*
✨Gorgeous✨
i also made a meme with you in it but, am not sure if you find it offensive or not
Epic

@@T128Productions I mean Utah belt isn’t real unless you mean the Utah railway, but yes there was (and technically is) a lot of D&RGW stuff here
@thatonecaledonian812 Oh right, that’s what I meant.
what train with Polar Express❓
That was the Aerotrain. One of General Motors’ (GM) failed projects known to man.
@@T128Productions then why you add that🤨❓
Because why not? lol
