The reason behind this is actually climate of India , India has actually every type of Climate in the world. You had to bring it up when no asked. 2. You are closed minded and cant respect others beliefs and you look down on it thinking your beliefs are above others. For sure you could've used better words. For example: "Beef isn't consumed in those states so you cant try them" but you tried to exert that you're somehow superior because you follow some other beliefs. You think you did something but you just sound like a jackass by doing something which was unnecessary. India china arab is common variations culture ingredients in asia.
May you would try to come in Vietnam, similarities food china taste but snack is indonesian taste hot(garlic black paper) different then spicy(chili) indonesian like lombok(chili) taste. There are using bahasa Indonesia too as a second nation languages. Similarities with Pinoy there are using Tagalog that actually same with Indonesian and thai accent but Portuguese come to crush many parts for gospel gold glory indeed and now they don't like spicy tase but hot taste(like a korean but not wasabi) anddd adios amigos in bahasa(maybe they don't know wastafel or peron from Netherlands and jerican from Germany)

Practically it is very difficult to eat these sort of food with fork and spoon. Once you are comfortable eating with hands, then onwards its a cakewalk.

The trick is to balance the spice of sidedish like chicken/beef with more dry rice. First you eat chicken/beef mixed with rice and curry. But if u feel the spice is too much, as u are chewing put some more dry rice, or dry rice + pumpkin curry mix along with some leaf . When u introduce it more the spice will go down. Thats how u regulate spice amount based on ur unique tolerance to spice.

Unless you guys ask for Fresh Fruit Juice without sugar in India, you will get one with huge quantities of sugar added by default. Next time ask for "sugarless" and no added water juice...
