I personally the inside jokes make them really twoset, unique and original. I really think that it's the point of their merch. Just saying :)

They have so much new merch and some really interesting designs now (the fantasia hoodie, the jupiter jean jacket, the la mer shirt, etc.) so I'd love a new version.

I think its an excellent play on font and design. The 40 is in red so its the number, but with the vertical line going slightly bellow the horizontal it makes it look like an "H" as well, so you can read it as the word HOURS.

I think they chose 40 hours because in they they’re Q and A about music university/conservatory they sued they practiced 4 to 5 hours everyday, it’s just a theory tho

I don't necessarily agree with making the words larger and placing them right smack in the center. The words could be slightly larger, but if the words were as large as the Anti-Social Social Club, it wouldn't look aesthetically pleasing to me. (Unlike you, I dislike the ASSC design lol. The font and size are unappealing to me, and I can't understand why everyone is wearing it.) Also placing the words in the middle doesn't feel right to me as well (specifically for those designs on the back of the shirts that you mentioned). Perhaps bring the words down such that they're near the centre but still in the upper half of the shirt.
The things I really like about the bumblebee shirt are that cute little bee, and that it's embroidered. But yeah I've wondered whether it's ok to be selling things with someone else's quotes even though it's probably not copyrighted.
I also don't really care whether people understand the inside jokes on my shirt. Perhaps it even feels exclusive and extra special when I identify a fellow TwoSetter by their shirt. Maybe it's just me.
One more thing: their merch is terribly unaffordable. So expensive!!!! :'( I think it's the priciest merch I've seen so far

One more thing: I actually really like how the '40' and 'HOURS' are merged in the 'PRACTICE 40 HOURS shirt :( it looks so Marvel-ish. I would rank it as one of the top few shirts

I own the bumblebee shirt (I quite like it having empty space so I can knot it and style it) and the 'Practice Period' shirt because I am a sucker for a nerdy t-shirt (I even have a periodic table t-shirt that says 'Nerdy but only periodically' lmao

I LOVE that jumper and i can't wait for the day i'll own one, but as someone who worked as a copyeditor, the quotation marks on that print are not facing each other (they face the same direction) and it bothers me SO MUCH lmao. in fact i'd go so far as to say that print could do entirely without the quotation marks

The majority of all UA-camr merch is bad. As you pointed out many times here, the social awkwardness factor is very relevant. I own very few pieces of merch and they all have in common that the design can stand on its own, without having to explain anything. As for TwoSet merch, the Eat Sleep Practice :|| is the best design by a massive margin in my eyes.
Oh yeah and I don’t love all the other ”Practice“ shirts because it’s not clear the shirt is talking about music. They could be about anything and except for the one I love the design doesn’t specify what it‘s about. So again, you would have to explain it.

no offense but i think their design team arent doing a good job.I cant see myself wearing most of the shirts cos theyre mostly inside jokes that doesnt mean anything to someone outside of the fanbase.and they have very limited options for nonmusicians that dont need to practice lol.
But why do merch, if it's not something inside? I though merch is supposed to be "inside" and not everyone needs to understand it🤔
