Jax had Grasp + Dshield because he thought he was laning against Kennen. He even had MR runes.
And why would he pick grasp against a ranged?
@@sp3ciouswell it's not like lethal tempo would be great for the ranged match up easier. Jax has a point and click leap so he could just stack grasp on wave and then do short trades with grasp and his E into kennen. Plus the green tree has the best secondary runes for ranged match-up
@@sp3ciousWith harasses the grasp would always be ready. Jax can use EQAW to do a quick trade and walk away as Kennen recover from the stun. LT Jax can't stack up because after stun is over, Kennen can just press E to get away.
Ohh you're right, some Jax players do go grasp + dshield into melee matchups as well though. Played vs a couple where it was fairly obvious he was facing Yone top

the phage effect is not just in your head. Because per level and back you are getting +attack speed. in a somewhat consistent increase then you spend so much gold to get no attack speed meaning you theoretically lost some potential attack speed.
maybe but my expectations isn't to get more just to keep what I had before I bought phage/hull but it's just a feeling

Yesterday played 2 rankeds, both against jax as yone, champ is so stupid but somehow managed to win first game and second game I won it without any death

really depressing that yasuo scales so poorly now. did he get nerfed with crit changes sometime after release? I think I remember he used to scale harder. I think his crits being such a low % partially kill the champ identity
IE is only +35% crit damage instead of 50% like it used to be so it barely makes him hit 200% damage these days, Galeforce got its crit scaling nerfed and AD scaling buffed so it's better on champs who build a lot of AD, and Yasuo doesn't. He's an attack speed stacker who gets a little bit of happenstantial AD from a couple of his core items like Shieldbow and Bloodthirster. He doesn't need to build armor pen because of the effect from his ultimate, and his shield gates damage so if you have good positioning and smart use of your ult which resets your passive shield instantly, you can tank a lot of big damage attacks head-on without losing any HP from it because of the shield.
You could literally hit a Yasuo who has his passive shield ready with a 9 million damage attack, and the shield will proc and block all of it, his HP won't get touched. I feel like it's actually a little too good at gating damage, but I also just don't like playing against a champ who has 100% crit chance at 2 items and his first power spike is Berserker Greaves at level 4.

IE buff good, W buff also impactful but in the wrong place. Yone doesn't need stronger early game, he's already strong with lethal tempo
