I appreciate that even in the face of longer animations being much more beneficial in the algorithm and in ad revenue, Element animation still posts these short animations that they spend a lot of time on, shows character :)

how are the animations so smooth? i know I've been subscribed for a long time but I've always wondered how they're so good! tell me the programmes you use.
Zombiepreda7or dude frame rate is high there is no program for this u have to do it by urself take so much efforts.
Well, kinda. In some animation programs (actually, most) you can make it calculate the frames in between movements automatically.
However, an animation will look better the more frames that you custom make.
The auto - generated frames wont really have the ability to do, say, squash and stretch, one of the principles of animation.

You'd actually need to know what you're doing, never mind the principles. Those were just created by Disney animators in an attempt to explain something as abstract as, well, animating.
In the end, the principles are mere guidelines. Smoothing doesn't automatically create coherrent animation by themselves. Animating takes a lot of thought, with which unless you don't have a faintest clue on what you're doing, you'll struggle.
Note that I did not use the term "Great" there. I did that deliberatly. Words such as good and bad means different things to different people. Therefore, I'd rather not use them to describe things such as this.

Zombiepreda7or you can use whatever you want! Blender is as good as C4D in my opinion and has awesome mc models but what i'm currently using is sfm cuz it's "easier" to use then blender

I hear that with the way UA-cam works, that even if a video is 1 second under a minute, it has severely cuts into the profit of a video. something about how its based on watch minutes rather than views. so when ever i see these quick 30-40 second shorts I always wonder if they are losing out on a large chunk of revanue. which would be a shame if it were because I love EA's shorts. just quick little uplifting videos. they are like the video equivalent of the fortune in a fortune cookie. or a dad joke. always great for a quick laugh.
