+McSwagn420 The difference between 11.4 and 9.58 is a huge margin. The difference between 11.4 and 11.0 seconds takes years to develop. Going from 11.0 to 10.9 takes a lot of training. Going from 10.9 to 10.5 takes years of training. Now reaching 9.99 seconds is Olympic level running. Every second takes years to pull off. Now Bale is fast there's no denying that and he probably could have became a decent sprinter. But there's nothing to put into perspective but that 11.4 and 9.58 is a decades worth of training and conditioning.

Nope...Bale is faster than walcott because of higher ball control and dribbling...i.e. he has to take fewer touches to get the ball forward...walcott will probably outpace Bale when they are running ball-less.

The test didn't make a lot of sens because it's either you just test the pure speed without the ball or you test it with the ball, but taking then in consideration when the ball crosses the line in the end and not the body.
Without ball is the real way to do it. They take their touch differently and I think that it affects the test

Then it seems that you don't know what acceleration means. Ronaldo got 94 sprint speed while Messi got 90.
Dan Hangan The sprint speed is much more important than acceleration... Acceleration is the time it takes to reach your top speed. The top speed is the "Sprint Speed". Could you have 100 of acceleration, but if your maximum speed is 50 not stop being a turtle.

It is also up to the dribbling and ball control though, someone who has bad ball control will generally be slower as they have to slow down to control the ball.

SURELY ball control, dribbling, other attributes come in to play? Anyone else thinking similarly or am I going mad....I mean, Bolly had the highest acceleration and sprint speed, but he came last in that race because his ball control, dribbling, isn't up to the same standard as the world class players. how about, agility, reactions, any attribute that can have an impact on how quickly/effectively a player can perform an action. This test doesn't just concern sprint speed and acceleration, is all i'm trying to say.

You should do one with the top 15 fastest in order... But that doesn't mean that the final 4 are the fastest because for example messi and Walcott were not in the same "group" so messi could have beat Walcott but we won't know because his group was different an could have been easier, and seem like there was a glitch when the last group with messi, it appeared he ran way more at the end because he was in the lead at half field, which makes now sense how he was in 1st at half field and lost by so much at the end field and also, it also looked like cuadrado beat bale

Agility counts in the first step of a sprint. Most people seem to overlook that.
Acceleration is how fast you reach top speed.
Dribbling is how close the ball is to your feet.
Balance is how well you stay on your feet. It's helpful in the first step too to ensure the player does not slip.
Cuadrado has 90 agility and dribbling. 92 acceleration and 94 sprint speed. Great balance. So it seems legit.
Bale has less agility(78) and balance(63)but higher speed stats, so he's able to recover
Ronaldo has 60 balance. So did not get off to the best of starts despite of his 93 agility and 91 acceleration.
if you look closely at the final, when bale and cuadrado are about to reach the line, they glitch forward by one foot

Just a question. Why in pro clubs can you not make 6'0" tall player fast as hell. You can't even get his speed and acceleration over an 80 with all the upgrades
But it also depends on the player dribbling coz if you have better dribbling then he will better control
U could do the final over and over and it would be a different result every time
onyl a comment, is a good video but remember that the players also are controling the ball, so when a player run with a ball the stat of ball control is also a point to remember, so i think that the stat of ball control is taking a very important part in this test and help that the player goes faster, but is a nice video :)

If you really want to find out the fastest player only in terms of speed, you should try knocking the ball forward (flick RS twice) instead of dribbling.
Look at the grassline at 3:46 with Bale and cuadrado, bale's body is slightly forward than cuadrado's. At an angle, you can clearly make a mistake, but the surroundings support my theory, and look at Bale's and cuadrado's legs, bale has clearly finished a sprint while cuadrado is about to finish one.
Call me a refree, because clearly Bale has one
