And other websites I don’t remember.
Everyone is tired of the tornado size comparisons where it has false information and biggest of all. unrealistic sizes of tornadoes, so I made my own.
i saw a weak wedge dust devil and it was very short lived, amazing to see
The biggest dust devil was 1 mile wide and I experienced it too
@@Xman_plays1234that's a sandstorm...
I’ve seen two massive dust devils next to each other, Near great sand dunes.
@@Xman_plays1234 cap
I saw a dust devil one time at my school and we were having panic attacks thinking that it would become a tornado.
Edit: I live in California so I have no idea how we thought that the dust devil would turn into a tornado.
Lol
I once saw a dust devil powerful enough to toss trash cans and push people around at school. It even had subvortices. And nobody rlly cared lol. Aussies are built different ig.
I’ve been in a 80 mph wind thunderstorm
@@deinocheirusgaming6920never heard of a dust devil having subvorticies
@@matahugu8675 It was a crazy setup, 35C ground temp and a cool, dry breeze. The breeze paused and boom, huge dust devil. Almost invisible cuz very little dust too.
still a little inaccurate because any tornado can have any size, but still REALLY nice to have something that DOESN'T INCREASE HEIGHT AS WELL
@@matahugu8675 Yes you are correct when you say that they can have any size. But I put the average of all the tornado scales. Thank you for the support.
this has to be the simplest yet best tornado size video on YT
Thanks, glad you enjoyed!
Definitely the most accurate and the best looking
I was shocked when I found out that not all large tornadoes including the El Reno one have proportionate condensation funnels.
Some tornadoes don't even have a visible funnel
rip twistex team fly high 🕊
i walked through a dust devil
before at my school and it was pretty dark inside
How did you open your eyes if it’s sand or dirt…
@@KragenDruprobs smth like those goggles to open your eyes underwater
for some reason i love this video and its animation style, good job
Thank you!

Very cool, great editing too, adding sound effects can be a challenge.
Thanks, I gave up on this months ago before coming back to it.
Very good this is too underated
Thanks!
Finally a good scale of tornado sizes
Glad you enjoyed it!
The only reason the El reno tornado was rated ef3 was because it was in an open field where minimal to no true damage can occur even though it caused death to a team of beloved storm chasers including five others. If the tornado had occurred a few miles north it would have hit El reno directly and could've caused major or even devastating damage and could've been rated a high ef4 or ef5.
some tornadoes can just be stupidly big but not an EF5. great animation btw.
i almost got hit by an EF3 tornado on August 8th 2024
Simple, good detail, over all, good video.
@@Memers222 Thanks!
Nice animations
2:05 for some reason the shadows of the supercell creep me out
Glad to see a fellow rojofern enjoyer here
I like how relaxing this vid is
Could we get a part 2? You could measure big wedges for example.
I was once in a ef0 while in my car it was scary but it was a fast tornado so it wasn’t over me much and it ended only about 90 seconds after it passed over us
The super cell thunderstorm is massive
I think i ever intercepted a dust devil
Yeah so basically i ever walked trough a dust devil, it was kinda weak but it picked up small objects like trash or smth like that, it was pretty rare to see a dust devil in a neighborhood because our neighborhood has little dust
Underrated
Should’ve mentioned the 2004 Hallam Tornado, unlike el Reno, the tornado had a mostly complete condensation funnel giving it an absolutely terrifying appearance and it was only 0.1 miles smaller than the el Reno tornado
That's animation very good ❤
Very well made
Wow thats good
You forgot about the Steam twister! (Steam devil)
You forgot about the tri state tornado 🌪️
thats not a type of tornado
@@wilbert_GTit is its a tornado that happened
@@Cooleditzzlolit’s not a type of tornado tho
Hmm if I do this again I’ll add it.
@@Cooleditzzlol The tornado was quite literally invisible to everyone in its path
sometimes their rating is also based on wind speeds
@@Lakesidit used to be rated on wind speeds, but now it’s just damage. Now it’s never wind speeds.
dang I didnt know that tornados rated by damage tysm bro
@@gojothestormkiller Np
you should do the mulham and el reno comparison because mulham had a completely condensed visible funnel
I was thinking about it.
Don't wanna be that guy, but do you mean Mulhall?
@@America1776. No talking about the 2.5 mile wide mulham tornado
@@Uraniummmm I searched it up and it doesn't come up
@@America1776. Look at one of my sources, he talks about the mulham tornado
Nice video, I think at one point in El Reno's life it was fully condensed, and it was a monster.
@@Maxthepro1012 it was never fully condensed, one of the main reasons it killed four chasers.
@@JamesthebiggestJamesanimator Starting at 23:30 in ua-cam.com/video/4u5cGa9jIXQ/v-deo.htmlsi=5RlkA1t07zs1iVbC this video, ( 2013 El Reno tornado videos synced ), I THINK it was almost fully condensed. Also it goes until 24:00ish atleast. I may be wrong though.
@@Maxthepro1012The actual tornado was way bigger than that.
@@JamesthebiggestJamesanimatorthe el Reno??
little correction: landspouts dont come from the sky to ground
?
its actually so unfair that el reno was rated ef3 like it killed 8 ppl and had like 250-300 mph wind speeds and it was the widest tornado in history
@@justguitarplayer1501 Well it only did ef3 damage, (Only came close to houses) Giving it the ef3 rating.
How is an ef3 wedge that’s cool I thought cone tornado
hey bro what app did you use on this to make that animation?

Where is the 1999 Mulhall tornado?
It might have been 4.2 miles wide, I don't know though.
The Mulhall was not 4.2 El Reno 2013 is the largest tornado ever recorded
@@paulooliveira8261 Search it up...
Its windfield was 4.2 miles
never got confirmed

Oh nah in my opinion, tornadoes doesn’t hit Vietnam instead of a tornado it’s a hurricane
So skinny tornado friendly and thicc tornado mean.
If there were no outliers then yes, but outliers are a thing that exist so no, the biggest tornado ever recorded was an ef-3
0:15
I thought greenfield was stornger than el reno
@@theofficialnoobedbox Yes it was, but el Reno was the largest.
@@JamesthebiggestJamesanimator oh i thought it said strongest tornado
Greenfield was estimated by windspeed to be around 318 mph. This was literally a day after the tornado became known. It actually had windspeeds of 180 mph. It isn’t by how strong the tornado is just by measuring the wind, the real meaning is damage.
@@mogomoe Yes you are correct when the tornados are measured by damage
thats a ef4 or ef5 multivortex (greenfield)
