One Alastor line that really pissed me off was, “Not to mess with the Radio Demon” A part of his character I really liked was how he wasn’t big into politics and image in the pilot. I preferred him to be more like not intentionally becoming an overlord and just becoming one by definition, not actively flaunting it. I get that he’s prideful, but even the way he says the line just sounds weirdly off.
Honestly, same. Pilot Al had subtlety & ominous prestige just by presence alone. Also, one thing to point out. Notice how at the end of the pilot. He obliterates Sir Pentious without saying a single word! He proves he is powerful in the most subtle & coolest way. & I truly applaud the animators who created those scenes.👌 But in his fight with Adam. He blabbered nonstop about being better than him while fighting in the most lamest way possible. Like. c'mon... Al was built-up to be this devious & powerful menace, that you should not ever mess with. But now. They completely changed his character & either intentionally or unintentionally stripped away everything that made him stand out or just iconic to begin with...

My idea of Alastor before the pilot was that Alastor was the most powerful overlord. But without doing what other overlords do to be in that position. What it would be like to be part of the capitalist market and have a territory. He did not derive power from the radio because he provided that service because it was his passion. And taking into account that you need souls to obtain power. For Alastor to arrive as a newcomer and massacre the overlord who had been ruling for centuries, to become stronger without any capital in his favor, must be something quite terrifying. Thanks to Helluva boss we know how been in the high class can play against you. This left Alastor occupying the most comfortable place of the food chain. A neutral place where you choose the best of all worlds. But no, what we choose is a type of "mysterious" that grits you in the face of the mysterious that is, a chillon that sells his soul "supposedly" more powerful (he says between parents, because his song suggests that he was much more powerful without treatment). A demon with a pride made of glass.
It’s because “the Radio Demon” seemed to be a title bestowed upon him by others. It’s like if someone started calling someone their girlfriend or boyfriend out of no where. We’d be under the impression they just “claimed” them, or that it’s self proclaimed. But if the recipient who up until that point seemed completely indifferent and almost uninvolved in the so called relationship said something like “you know I love my girlfriend!” (claiming the other person back essentially) it would feel weird. It’s like “oh!” , you actually care? Oh… okay then! Wow lol. That’s what it feels like with Al. It’s like “oh! So if we called you strawberry pimp enough would you own it too?” Lol
A common issue I've noticed with the songs is that, as songs, a lot of them are amazing...however, if you judge them purely from a narrative point of view in terms of what they do for things like the characters, story, etc, a lot of the songs begin to completely fall apart. Hell is Forever and Out for Love are the two biggest examples of this; an issue I have with Hazbin Hotel is how black and white it's themes are in spite of the show being so predicated on being against black-and-white moralities. Charlie is always portrayed as 100% in the right and Adam is 100% in the wrong, in spite of the fact that both mentalities are heavily black and white and simplistic, yet the show only calls out the flaws with Adam's way of thinking, while portating Charlie's way of thinking as right. Adam especially exists only to be nothing but a pure straw character who only exists to be torn down by the story, which is why he has very little depth beyond "asshole who likes swearing a lot". Hell is Forever puts that issue on full display, exposing how black-and-white the show's themes are and how much of a one-dimensional straw man Adam is. Out for Love meanwhile damages Vaggie as a character and doesn't make much sense. Carmilla says that Vaggie is "thirsting for vengeance" and "should fight for love", even though Vaggie wasn't ever "thirsting for vengeance" at all, she always fought to protect Charlie. One of the lyrics Vaggie sings in Whatever it Takes is literally "I'll be your armor". She ALWAYS went to protect Charlie. She was never out for vengeance at all. Oh, and the song also further cementes the issue of Vaggie being solely defined by Charlie and flat-out validates it in universe with the lyric "fuel yourself with the fear of losing that *somebody who's your reason to live*". It implies that, Vaggie only exists to be Charlie's protector and girlfriend, her only major character moments (including this song) purely revolve around Charlie in some way. She can not exist without Charlie. She can only be Charlie's partner and girlfriend. She is only defined *by Charlie*. The song, like Hell is Forever, puts a major issue of a character on full display and even makes it worse.
Yeah. The songs are fine and people get hard over them but I agree. Most of them still hinder the plot and are unnecessary. I might get shit on for this but that's what the songs felt like to me.
Thats an issue i have too, the fact their DEMONS and are in HELL is never actually brought up-characters like angel & alaster being murderers who took away innocent lives is completly shoved aside in order to treat them like innocent victims , espically angel who has emily question why isnt he in heaven cause he was shown being nice Even tho the answer is loud & clear as to why his in hell Majority of hell’s population have done some truly immoral things -they arent in hell cause they were being edgy on twitter or whatever they committed immoral acts that SHOULD be brought up when disscuissing about giving them a second chance
This is literally my biggest issue with Hazbin Hotel. As much as I love the series and its songs, I have to listen to the songs without the context of the plot because that's when it falls apart. The Hell is Forever callback in You Didn't Know felt especially unearned knowing that, despite calling out the idea of black-and-white in morality (good message to send) this is after having the most black-and-white characters and scenarios. Very sad. I have other issues, but that's one of my biggest ones.

The Songs including Vaggie are pretty much the most pointless due to them having the same “Theme” in each one, of her wanting to right by Charlie, even though that’s ALL she’s been doing for her this whole time, whilst only TELLING us how much she means to her rather than showing us in past sense for 3 years, like how much did she have to cope with being in Hell, than just have her instantly falling for her on the Spot, with no Detail in between that.
you guys are so real about hells greatest dad/more than anything. charlie is the main character and the shows premise is about her dream to run a hotel/save people. and they kept on telling us charlie 'wants to fix peoples problems to ignore her own' (implied to be her daddy issues....?). so one of the reasons shes even doing this hotel is because she was both inspired by and has issues with her dad. but half the ep that introduces lucifer and resolves charlies issues with him is taken up by alastor? why?!☹ songs are great but the context around them are confusing
This might spite people but the way I see it... Alastor is better as a secondary or support character as the limited screen time keeps his mystery up in the air and allows for the limited interactions will allow each word and moment for him interesting. The second a character that is meant to be mysterious gets too much screen time then they start to not only lose the mystery to them, but it then brings into question aspects of their character and what the purpose of them in the story is for. I kinda hope I make sense? Or the very least they shoulda split half his screen time for more important stuff. Also why is Lucifer a "bad" dad? like its obvious in the scene with kid Charlie that she didn't want to leave her father and didn't want to be with her mother. if they wanted Lucifer to be a bad dad... have him ignore her and even Lillith... thats the worst... or best? you know what I mean, the bottom of the barrel idea for bad dad writing is just a father who ignores their child... If anything Lillith is the bad parent since though we don't see anything, Charlie doesn't want to leave her father, Lillith least to the audience left her family to go to heaven and was gone for SEVEN years, and who knows what else. So if anything... shouldn't Charlie have mommy issues?
I agree, like it’s kinda weird that every character has daddy issues and I’m overly done with the repetitive theme, like I get it, but it feels like the same all over again. I would even go so far as hc Charlie having mommy issues, seeing the ‘separation between Lucifer and Lilith’, viv could have make Lucifer ‘him being a literal good dad and have faith in making his family happy’

The thing is that the series doesn't put you in perspective. I was also shocked when he said that. But then I kept thinking and it makes a little sense. First the obvious, Emili is an angel born in post-Jesus heaven, He doesn't know what humans are capable of doing. But the point that convinces me most is that angelic weapons erase souls. If you kill someone on earth, they will be reborn in heaven or hell. If you kill a sinner, he will only appear in hell again. If you kill a hellborn, you become part of hell in a painless eternity. This does make the exterminations super horrible, especially if it was not approved and it is something that is done in secret. Especially when you think that maybe there are people in hell who didn't do much to have that ending. As you say, there are people who don't deserve a second chance, but a person who sinned as a thief should be erased along with such horrible people, well... Or maybe a person was very gluttonous and ended up in hell. 50 years later he is a murderer because hell corrupted him. There are too many people on the gray line to ignore it. But of course, I'm saying that, not the show. It's not like he has to make us feel sorry for sinners.

Yeah. I could care less about Alastor. The only cool thing about him is his powers. Everything else about him is pretty boring. Come after me all you want Alastor fans. It's just my opinion. Mimzy interrupting "Hell's Greatest Dad" because Alastor and Lucifer would've been going on and on was a good thing. I hope Vaggie gets to be more than just Charlie's girlfriend because she has the potential to have more character development.
He was so intriguing when the pilot and the comic was all we had to work with. Now the show tries way to hard to get you to like him, it's really pathetic.

I'll be so honest with you but Lute's lines pissed me tf off in "You didn't know," but in a good way? She says these things about a victim of abuse and substance addiction in an exploitive environment of sex work, and it's just homophobic and gross and slut-shamey.... but I kinda like it? Musicals are suppose to make you feel things. Joy, Sorrow, Anger, Outrage and what Lute said genuinely got a reaction out of me! And that reaction was "WOW, FUCK YOU TOO?" Which is a good thing. She's a villain. A judgemental and spiteful asshole that's really no better than the sinners she slays, and her line in "you didn't know" really conveys that! The line was rancid in all the right ways! I do not like hazbin at all but I will give it props where it was due
Charlie as a character is in bad need of an arc. Really, pretty much everyone not named Angel Dust (even then, debatably) and Sir Penitous didn't have an arc. Everyone ends up where they started off. Charlie believes in the hotel at the start and after some trials her beliefs are vindicated. Vaggie starts the season defining herself by proecting Charlie, and she ends up where she started. Alastor has no arc. Husk has no arc. Lucifer has no arc. Nifty isn't a character. The characters don't feel at all fleshed out or nuanced, there's no real growth outside of them liking one another more.
The part in Hell's Greatest Dad where they solo the instruments and intensifying... Well actually very much all the song its pretty much 'Better than you' from Camp Camp!! Blonde guy with a violín vs Ginger too XD!!
My biggest gripes with Hell's Greatest Dad is the fact that Lucifer doesn't even help out with the hotel because the conflict between Charlie & him is resolved in the end of the episode.It makes the entire song feel pointless and forced. Also all the point's you two made about Alastor I totally agree with, I wish Lucifer would have ripped him a new one for his disrespect.
Hearing Love talking about how Bosco’s Alastor makes him who he is reminds me of how I feel about Kovach’s Angel Dust I don’t hate the guy who’s now voicing Angel Dust and the song Poison was okay, it’s just it was Michael Kovach who was the reason I became an Angel Dust fan in the first place
I think a lot of the issue with the musical numbers, the character development and the pacing of everything really comes down to the fact of how short the season is. I think vizie said that she had planned for about 24 episodes but was only given 8 episodes. And in all honesty if they didn’t make it action packed and big and theatric it might not have been picked up for another season. I wish a lot more things could be explored better. Also I think most people had an expectation of a character driven show with one over arching plot that was though of some times, but it ended up having to be a pure plot driven show with the whole season having to be focused on getting from point A to point B without many breaks just because of how little episodes they were given.
I would've loved hazbin hotel if they actually focused on redeeming sinners, even some sort of "slice-of-life" vibe to it. I wished it was more focused in hell, rather than heaven. I actually wished alastor would've bonded a bit with the hotel and have more Interactions with vaggie, Charlie and Angel dust (yes, i'm a diehard Radiodust shipper i don't care). Unfortunately, it's all lost Potential…

I feel that both Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss would do well to have support conversations like in Fire Emblem Three Houses (and the series as a whole).
That's what happens when you try to do way too many things with your show. Hazbin is trying to be a comedy, a musical, a drama, a religious satire, a story about politics, power plays, and struggles between nations, have undertones of a battle shonen series, and so much more all at once, and it just makes the whole thing super bloated and confusing. I really wish the series just stuck to it's original premise instead of trying to throw any and every single idea into it.

We don't know enough about Molly to say. It's possible she just never got involved in mob stuff and chose to stay away from it. She has the spider design due to being part of that family but that doesn't mean she was involved in the mob enough to be sent to hell. You could also make the argument that the livestreams aren't canon and they possibly retconned Angel's mob origin, but I never liked this as an argument

I get it that it’s the point but the episode wasn’t focusing purely on that. Lucifer was meant to portray that he feels very distant to his daughter and feels the need to step into the roll and get closer to her. Alastor on the other hand wants to manipulate and gain power, even though all he wanted in the first place as he said himself for entertainment!, should be trying to act friendly with I don’t know maybe, the KING of hell and the one who is the most powerful of all demons and some angels. Instead we get alastor being annoyed by him for some reason when also, he could be his way out of the contract with Lilith, and Lucifer responds in a very insecure way when he’s literally the embodiment of PRIDE like show some superiority and arrogance towards Alastor and show the power gap between you and him.

‘If Hell is forever, then Heaven must be a lie’ First of all, we as humans are the one who does the actions, like every movies or bible films, if you did something that ‘offends’ God and you have not confessed it, then yeah, you’ll go to hell, and if you did a good deed, like helping people (this including confessing your sins and then got forgiven and never do it again), then you are going to heaven. It is based on morals that we did as humans. (This is based on Catholicism and idk if Christianity is also referenced, so feel free to correct me in a respectful way) Maybe Emily and Charlie doesn’t know ‘human values/morals’ imo. EDIT: As much as I want to see the improvements if they want to make it ‘Musical’, they need to check on Chicago Film, there are many songs used for that film, and one of the song is iconic, which is Cell Block Tango. It’s tricky if you mix it with musical and adult cartoon. Anyways, I would prefer the pilot songs, like ‘Inside of every demon is a rainbow’.

Also you know it’s bad when shows like Steven Universe have multiple songs that flow with the story better. Don’t get me wrong I love Steven Universe but some moments in the show have some weird portrayals of certain topics and a few too bubbly and giddy moments for the show itself. In the end I feel like the writers should just take some examples from SU having their songs actually FLOW with their episodes and feel more natural instead of “oh! This show is a musical so let’s just throw in this little number won’t we??” Like what- so many songs come out of nowhere I always feel like getting hit by a curve ball with some of the songs that happened during the middle of an interesting scene too (or had the potential of being interesting)
I think it’s written to much like a musical and not enough like an actual narratively driven tv show, they really speed run things they are all tell and no show the fandom does all the character development for the show it’s all just headcannon and full in the blanks I like the show but In concept in execution it’s mid you know what it’s giving it’s giving homestuck if you know what I mean

If you die without doing that, you go to hell. You wanna know whose fault that is? Yours! Heaven or Hell is your final resting place depending on your time on earth. It’s stupid that they continue to ignore this and act like everyone in hell got there unfairly. Which btw even if you murder someone, you can still go to hell. You just gotta repent and have faith in god. Of course that doesn’t mean you can continue to murder people after you have faith in God, obviously there’s layers to it. But, that just goes to show how mercifully (is that the right word?) God is. The unforgivable sin is denying the Holy Spirit. If you do that you will go to hell. Which I get this story isn’t actually supposed to be super religious, but if Charlie is actually hoping to redeem sinners (if that was even possible to begin with) then they all would have to have faith in God! Charlie is always portrayed as 100% in the right and Adam is 100% in the wrong, in spite of the fact that both mentalities are heavily black and white and simplistic, yet the show only calls out the flaws with Adam's way of thinking, while portating Charlie's way of thinking as right. Adam especially exists only to be nothing but a pure straw character who only exists to be torn down by the story, which is why he has very little depth beyond "asshole who likes swearing a lot". Hell is Forever puts that issue on full display, exposing how black-and-white the show's themes are and how much of a one-dimensional straw man Adam is.
Out for Love meanwhile damages Vaggie as a character and doesn't make much sense. Carmilla says that Vaggie is "thirsting for vengeance" and "should fight for love", even though Vaggie wasn't ever "thirsting for vengeance" at all, she always fought to protect Charlie. One of the lyrics Vaggie sings in Whatever it Takes is literally "I'll be your armor". She ALWAYS went to protect Charlie. She was never out for vengeance at all. Oh, and the song also further cementes the issue of Vaggie being solely defined by Charlie and flat-out validates it in universe with the lyric "fuel yourself with the fear of losing that *somebody who's your reason to live*".
It implies that, Vaggie only exists to be Charlie's protector and girlfriend, her only major character moments (including this song) purely revolve around Charlie in some way. She can not exist without Charlie. She can only be Charlie's partner and girlfriend. She is only defined *by Charlie*. The song, like Hell is Forever, puts a major issue of a character on full display and even makes it worse.
Yeah. The songs are fine and people get hard over them but I agree. Most of them still hinder the plot and are unnecessary. I might get shit on for this but that's what the songs felt like to me.

This is literally my biggest issue with Hazbin Hotel. As much as I love the series and its songs, I have to listen to the songs without the context of the plot because that's when it falls apart. The Hell is Forever callback in You Didn't Know felt especially unearned knowing that, despite calling out the idea of black-and-white in morality (good message to send) this is after having the most black-and-white characters and scenarios. Very sad. I have other issues, but that's one of my biggest ones.
Sometimes creators have to kill their darlings, and Alastor is a good example.

The Songs including Vaggie are pretty much the most pointless due to them having the same “Theme” in each one, of her wanting to right by Charlie, even though that’s ALL she’s been doing for her this whole time, whilst only TELLING us how much she means to her rather than showing us in past sense for 3 years, like how much did she have to cope with being in Hell, than just have her instantly falling for her on the Spot, with no Detail in between that.
you guys are so real about hells greatest dad/more than anything. charlie is the main character and the shows premise is about her dream to run a hotel/save people. and they kept on telling us charlie 'wants to fix peoples problems to ignore her own' (implied to be her daddy issues....?). so one of the reasons shes even doing this hotel is because she was both inspired by and has issues with her dad. but half the ep that introduces lucifer and resolves charlies issues with him is taken up by alastor? why?!☹ songs are great but the context around them are confusing
This might spite people but the way I see it... Alastor is better as a secondary or support character as the limited screen time keeps his mystery up in the air and allows for the limited interactions will allow each word and moment for him interesting. The second a character that is meant to be mysterious gets too much screen time then they start to not only lose the mystery to them, but it then brings into question aspects of their character and what the purpose of them in the story is for. I kinda hope I make sense? Or the very least they shoulda split half his screen time for more important stuff. Also why is Lucifer a "bad" dad? like its obvious in the scene with kid Charlie that she didn't want to leave her father and didn't want to be with her mother. if they wanted Lucifer to be a bad dad... have him ignore her and even Lillith... thats the worst... or best? you know what I mean, the bottom of the barrel idea for bad dad writing is just a father who ignores their child...
If anything Lillith is the bad parent since though we don't see anything, Charlie doesn't want to leave her father, Lillith least to the audience left her family to go to heaven and was gone for SEVEN years, and who knows what else. So if anything... shouldn't Charlie have mommy issues?
I agree, like it’s kinda weird that every character has daddy issues and I’m overly done with the repetitive theme, like I get it, but it feels like the same all over again. I would even go so far as hc Charlie having mommy issues, seeing the ‘separation between Lucifer and Lilith’, viv could have make Lucifer ‘him being a literal good dad and have faith in making his family happy’

The thing is that the series doesn't put you in perspective. I was also shocked when he said that. But then I kept thinking and it makes a little sense. First the obvious, Emili is an angel born in post-Jesus heaven, He doesn't know what humans are capable of doing.
But the point that convinces me most is that angelic weapons erase souls. If you kill someone on earth, they will be reborn in heaven or hell. If you kill a sinner, he will only appear in hell again. If you kill a hellborn, you become part of hell in a painless eternity.
This does make the exterminations super horrible, especially if it was not approved and it is something that is done in secret. Especially when you think that maybe there are people in hell who didn't do much to have that ending. As you say, there are people who don't deserve a second chance, but a person who sinned as a thief should be erased along with such horrible people, well...
Or maybe a person was very gluttonous and ended up in hell. 50 years later he is a murderer because hell corrupted him. There are too many people on the gray line to ignore it.
But of course, I'm saying that, not the show. It's not like he has to make us feel sorry for sinners.

I hope Vaggie gets to be more than just Charlie's girlfriend because she has the potential to have more character development.

I'll be so honest with you but Lute's lines pissed me tf off in "You didn't know," but in a good way? She says these things about a victim of abuse and substance addiction in an exploitive environment of sex work, and it's just homophobic and gross and slut-shamey.... but I kinda like it? Musicals are suppose to make you feel things. Joy, Sorrow, Anger, Outrage and what Lute said genuinely got a reaction out of me! And that reaction was "WOW, FUCK YOU TOO?" Which is a good thing. She's a villain. A judgemental and spiteful asshole that's really no better than the sinners she slays, and her line in "you didn't know" really conveys that! The line was rancid in all the right ways! I do not like hazbin at all but I will give it props where it was due
Charlie as a character is in bad need of an arc.
Really, pretty much everyone not named Angel Dust (even then, debatably) and Sir Penitous didn't have an arc.
Everyone ends up where they started off.
Charlie believes in the hotel at the start and after some trials her beliefs are vindicated.
Vaggie starts the season defining herself by proecting Charlie, and she ends up where she started.
Alastor has no arc.
Husk has no arc.
Lucifer has no arc.
Nifty isn't a character.
The characters don't feel at all fleshed out or nuanced, there's no real growth outside of them liking one another more.
They will be in the next seasons

My biggest gripes with Hell's Greatest Dad is the fact that Lucifer doesn't even help out with the hotel because the conflict between Charlie & him is resolved in the end of the episode.It makes the entire song feel pointless and forced.
Also all the point's you two made about Alastor I totally agree with, I wish Lucifer would have ripped him a new one for his disrespect.

I think a lot of the issue with the musical numbers, the character development and the pacing of everything really comes down to the fact of how short the season is. I think vizie said that she had planned for about 24 episodes but was only given 8 episodes. And in all honesty if they didn’t make it action packed and big and theatric it might not have been picked up for another season. I wish a lot more things could be explored better.
Also I think most people had an expectation of a character driven show with one over arching plot that was though of some times, but it ended up having to be a pure plot driven show with the whole season having to be focused on getting from point A to point B without many breaks just because of how little episodes they were given.
I would've loved hazbin hotel if they actually focused on redeeming sinners, even some sort of "slice-of-life" vibe to it. I wished it was more focused in hell, rather than heaven. I actually wished alastor would've bonded a bit with the hotel and have more Interactions with vaggie, Charlie and Angel dust (yes, i'm a diehard Radiodust shipper i don't care). Unfortunately, it's all lost Potential…

I feel that both Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss would do well to have support conversations like in Fire Emblem Three Houses (and the series as a whole).
That's what happens when you try to do way too many things with your show. Hazbin is trying to be a comedy, a musical, a drama, a religious satire, a story about politics, power plays, and struggles between nations, have undertones of a battle shonen series, and so much more all at once, and it just makes the whole thing super bloated and confusing. I really wish the series just stuck to it's original premise instead of trying to throw any and every single idea into it.

We don't know enough about Molly to say. It's possible she just never got involved in mob stuff and chose to stay away from it. She has the spider design due to being part of that family but that doesn't mean she was involved in the mob enough to be sent to hell.
You could also make the argument that the livestreams aren't canon and they possibly retconned Angel's mob origin, but I never liked this as an argument

Hells greatest dad is catchy with the tone and the way it flows but LORD the lyrics just feel like a whole argument between two people trying to insult each other using fancy words and that’s it. I get it that it’s the point but the episode wasn’t focusing purely on that. Lucifer was meant to portray that he feels very distant to his daughter and feels the need to step into the roll and get closer to her. Alastor on the other hand wants to manipulate and gain power, even though all he wanted in the first place as he said himself for entertainment!, should be trying to act friendly with I don’t know maybe, the KING of hell and the one who is the most powerful of all demons and some angels. Instead we get alastor being annoyed by him for some reason when also, he could be his way out of the contract with Lilith, and Lucifer responds in a very insecure way when he’s literally the embodiment of PRIDE like show some superiority and arrogance towards Alastor and show the power gap between you and him.
What’s worse alastor is still one of the better characters 🤣🤣🤣also the attention thing isn’t so much a serial killer thing

First of all, we as humans are the one who does the actions, like every movies or bible films, if you did something that ‘offends’ God and you have not confessed it, then yeah, you’ll go to hell, and if you did a good deed, like helping people (this including confessing your sins and then got forgiven and never do it again), then you are going to heaven. It is based on morals that we did as humans. (This is based on Catholicism and idk if Christianity is also referenced, so feel free to correct me in a respectful way)

EDIT: As much as I want to see the improvements if they want to make it ‘Musical’, they need to check on Chicago Film, there are many songs used for that film, and one of the song is iconic, which is Cell Block Tango. It’s tricky if you mix it with musical and adult cartoon. Anyways, I would prefer the pilot songs, like ‘Inside of every demon is a rainbow’.

Also you know it’s bad when shows like Steven Universe have multiple songs that flow with the story better. Don’t get me wrong I love Steven Universe but some moments in the show have some weird portrayals of certain topics and a few too bubbly and giddy moments for the show itself. In the end I feel like the writers should just take some examples from SU having their songs actually FLOW with their episodes and feel more natural instead of “oh! This show is a musical so let’s just throw in this little number won’t we??” Like what- so many songs come out of nowhere I always feel like getting hit by a curve ball with some of the songs that happened during the middle of an interesting scene too (or had the potential of being interesting)

He gave me weird vibes in the pilot and after fully getting to know his character he reminds me of a friend that mentally abused and gaslight me for years who I actually had a fall out recently. Plus, most Al fans praise his abuse on Husk which, mirrors Angel’s relationship with Val, so I don’t like him even more.

If you die without doing that, you go to hell. You wanna know whose fault that is? Yours! Heaven or Hell is your final resting place depending on your time on earth. It’s stupid that they continue to ignore this and act like everyone in hell got there unfairly. Which btw even if you murder someone, you can still go to hell. You just gotta repent and have faith in god. Of course that doesn’t mean you can continue to murder people after you have faith in God, obviously there’s layers to it. But, that just goes to show how mercifully (is that the right word?) God is. The unforgivable sin is denying the Holy Spirit. If you do that you will go to hell. Which I get this story isn’t actually supposed to be super religious, but if Charlie is actually hoping to redeem sinners (if that was even possible to begin with) then they all would have to have faith in God!
